Had my timing belt changed at 32000 miles and sump removed and oil strainer cleaned done under warranty. Ive done 57000 miles now out of warranty and same oil pressure fault has came back dealer can't look at it for 4 weeks with an initial cost of £144 to check the fault shocking. Thanks to ur post ive checked the belt and its cracked so hopefully this should be replaced foc cheers.
I have grandland x and i face a problem that sometimes it shows warning top up engine oil and sometimes i says engine oil correct. It can be cause of wet belt issue?
Has anybody managed to find a fix to this problem? It’s happening to me and Vauxhall just keep having it back and the same thing keeps happening and goes unrepaired
I had a 2019 with 9,200 miles that went t!ts up and needed a complete new engine luckily I only had It a week after buying from main dealership, told them to stick It and went to Toyota
I warned my aunt about this issue but instead of listening to me she just went ahead and bought one. According to her 'I won't have you controlling my life' I was giving her some good advice but she thinks she knows best. Madness! I've had my Corsa C from new which 18 years old and, I have never had problems with the timing chain because it's made out of METAL. It's at 70000 miles and the chain is still tight, I know this because I took off the rocker cover to check it. The only thing I had to do was tighten the bearing caps because I had a rattle. It's all fixed and works perfect!! These car manufactures get away with making these trash engines and not taking responsibility for it.
We get a ‘oil pressure low STOP THE VEHICLE’ sensor come up but only sometimes is that the start of it lol ? Best to get it looked at? 2018 crossland 1.2
