Hey Derek Thanks for Watching! 100% this works without the 3:1 Advantage. This is a really safe, stable, and easy way to live a good amount of weight but if you were in a hurry you can drop the 3:1 and just use a pully and a braking system. We practiced this recently in this way and it works great too as a quicker way of doing things. Thanks for the comment brother stay safe!
