If you exclude the stereotypes of international and all the negative things people say and think of international. I think this is a good looking truck and the interior looks nice as hell..one of the better interiors and sleeper setups in my opinion.
K WinChronic I believe you can order this with the Cummins engine. That to me would make it a worthwhile truck. I’m still very much in the fence regarding the A26 International engine. I read a lot where it was newly engineered from the ground up, and when searching for problems or complaints it appears they have similar issues that both Paccar and Detroit have, and at about the same rate. Still though, given the long list of bad engines from international over the last decade, I’d err towards getting the Cummins X15 version of this rig.
When are they going to put comfortable seats in this truck? Plus mirrors that do not vibrate when you're going down the highway and take the vibration now the truck Isaac's running down the highway empty or Bob tailing? And how about a better transmission the one that put in the one I got sucks
International trucks never had any problems with looking good the problem is and always had been the motor train and problems that came with it. The eagles 9900i 9400i and 9200i where in my opinion their best trucks
@@thermroberts380 friend for tastes there are colors, everyone will like it, I like it because they are original, not like everyone now that they are all flat because they look like buildings, instead of trucks
Looks like a sardine can. You dont figure that out until you actually live in one, whats the point of having a sleeper and no where to put gear. Before you leave dealership, make high idle 1000 rpm (or you plug up def filter) and change default idle shut off time from 1 hr to unlimited, get an alignment and jpro print out and make sure some clown did not wire your aux heater to circuit that does not shut off when you turn the key. Buy a spare 5th wheel level bar for air shocks and make sure your drive shaft is level. Get a headache rack for your gear if no top bunk, and extra tool boxes. Good luck. I would rather have a KW700 w rebuilt power train. The windshield acts as an air brake, stealing away the aero tweaks.it needs to be at an angle where water beads away, not glued in place, palm face.
Would be nice if they put a pull out table on sleeper cabs. Nothing on 2018 issued to JB Hunts. You eat on your lap and drops food on the chair in between your thighs. Would like a space for commonly used things like gloves, thumper, and flash light by the fire extinguisher side. My gloves keep dropping out and missing. A keyless entry on those small side doors, A MORE VISIBLE SIGNAL LIGTHS ON THE SIDES, a redesigned dashboard indicator lights. I cant see if Im on high beam, or in cruise control. The mirrors are often vibrating and dissapointing. The placement of the switches I suggest should be redesigned. The emrgency or fourway switch is too far and i happen to press the SUSP/DUMP on the 2018. On the 2019 its still far out. The seldom used switches like the Diferential Lock, Traction control, etc... are rarely used and therefore cannot be near the drivers reach. When rainy, my gloves and the spares gets wet. If only theres a space to warm up the gloves or shoes like a dry space under the footsteps or near the battery area. If INTERNATIONAL accepts criticism from drivers, their trucks might turn out to be best among trucks. Hopefully they will
I’m just not a big fan of international trucks the ones I do like are the 9900i model , and I just saw the HX520 for 2020 which is nice and the older cab overs other than that I wouldn’t buy this truck if I were shopping for a new truck it would be a Peterbilt 389 all day long or the new KW 990
No way Jose that engine is a nightmare like a movie from hell, nice truck bad engine, good luck trying to sell shit like this ,unless you have a detroit engine or cummins that would be a different ball game.
I had a 2007 9400I with CAT Acert 13 twin turbo engine and 10 speed eaton automatic transmission, that was a super good truck now these new ones with maxforce bulshit engines in it,will never buy international again
Lcpl Devildog as it turns out, you can indeed order this truck with the Cummins X15 running at its 2050 torque spec and 565HP just like any Pete or KW.
Sweet spot is 65, then you fight crippleware. Does not like heat or soot, oil change every 15K or it chatters. You need dual exhaust, dual def system and then you can get another 100 miles a day out of it, if nanny state would get out of the way. Otherwise get the biggest hp avail and dont worry about mpg. For shippers that want reliable 70mph, you wont get that with crippleware. It does not like traffic jams during a regen cycle.
Tiene. Q mejorar la comodidad de el asiento de ese internacional porque es pésimo eh incómodo todo lo de más está perfecto pero su asiento es un asco y te fatiga en cortas distancias su posición del volante igual incomodisimo
