Good info about the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Jeep Cherokee vehicles. As for the Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Laredo trim or other trim levels such as the Limited, Overland and Summit equipped with the V6 engine, the actual horsepower is 295. Not 300 like what was mentioned in the video. Back in 2014 for the first time I became an owner of a Jeep branded vehicle and first time owning an SUV. I currently have the last generation Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim having the WK body style which is from 2005 to 2010. Great vehicle. Mine has the regular V8 engine which got discontinued either in 2008 or 2009. I wanted the Jeep Grand Cherokee with the HEMI V8 engine at the time, but it wasn't available due to getting sold out at couple used dealerships I was relying on. My next vehicle purchase will still be an SUV and I will still stay with the Jeep brand. Like what was mentioned in the video there's a Jeep Grand Cherokee for anybody based the the variety of trim levels available. When I make my next Jeep Grand Cherokee purchase it'll be the next generation one I'll get. This time I'll get it in the Overland trim equipped with the HEMI V8 engine. Based on articles I read from couple sources, the next generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will have 3rd row seating available. This will be the first time 3rd row seating will be available for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Should be good along with other new features. 👍👍

Jeffery Baxter Do you know if the exterior design of the vehicle will change? For the next generation? I have a Jeep (limited) Grand Cherokee I love it. I’m very happy with it.

@@erica7991 Good morning Erica. Yes, the overall exterior design schematics for the next generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will have changes. I don't know concrete information about the new looks, but a new appearance will indeed take place. That's good you're a Jeep Grand Cherokee owner. Also nice that you got yours in the Limited trim. The Laredo trim which is below it is too basic. Which model year Jeep Grand Cherokee do you have? Do you have the last generation Jeep Grand Cherokee which includes model years 2005 to 2010 or do you have the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee which has model years 2011 to present? As for me I have the last generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. 2005 model. That body style lasted until 2010. Mine is also in the Limited trim level with a V8 engine. Another thing I know the upcoming new generation Jeep Grand Cherokee will have is few more driver autonomous features on top of what's currently available.

Jeffery Baxter Good Morning! I recently purchased a 2019 Grand Cherokee (Limited) ..... I’ve been a fan of Jeep for years. Prior to the 2019, I had a 2012 Jeep Liberty (yes 2012🤣🤣🤣🤣) I fell in love with the timeless design of the (Liberty) prior to that, I had a 2003 Jeep (Liberty) 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I was literally riding in the Stone Age in regards to interior upgrades. I had my 2012 Jeep Liberty for one year. But my 2003, I had for 7 or 8 years. I found the car to extremely reliable and refuse to upgrade. After finally, not being able to pass inspection, I purchased a 2012 used Jeep Liberty last year. I found the box shape to be timeless and fell in love with the exterior design, especially loved the look of the grill of the vehicle. To me, the design of the Liberty never aged. (And was sad when they discontinued the Jeep Liberty) Due to issues with the heat, I decided not to get it fixed, bite the bullet, and purchase a brand new Jeep. So now, I have a brand new Grand Cherokee, and I must say....... Wow! Being in the Stone Age for so long, the upgrades are astounding. I believe I have a V6 engine, and the acceleration, is unbelievable. The interior design, is amazing, soft leather seating, heated seats, OMG! I love the car, and Jeep really has stepped their game up. I would have got a Wrangler, but I didn’t like the interior design of the vehicle. Can’t wait to see what the new generation Jeep Grand Cherokees look like. Although, I’ll probably have this one forever. 😍 Overall, in my opinion, I find Jeep to be timeless vehicles and they are very reliable.

@@erica7991 Good afternoon Erica. WOW! I see you're a die hard Jeep fan. That's good. I don't blame you. I'm the same way too. The 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim I have now is the 4th vehicle I've owned overall. Prior 3 vehicles were cars. The first vehicle was a 1989 Dodge Spirit, second vehicle was a 1990 Acura Integra and the third vehicle was a 1997 VW Jetta. At the beginning I always wanted an SUV, but I never had the opportunity to get one until few years ago back in 2014. Being the current owner of an SUV now, I'll never ever set foot into a car again in regards to ownership. NOPE. No looking back. Going forward my vehicles will be SUVs and that's it. I'm glad you love your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim. Like what you said the upgrades done for the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee are astounding. The leather seats are GRRREAT!! Nice n comfy seats. In the summer last year in 2017 I test drove the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the Limited trim equipped with the HEMI V8 engine. It was great. The overall ride comfort was nice. Better than mine. Jeep definitely up their game in the ride comfort department. Another thing I liked with the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee was the way it drives. When the transmission shifts it's a lot smoother and quicker than mine. Generally speaking, as we all know there's no such thing as the perfect seamless vehicle. With that being said I'm going to highlight 3 gripes for the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. These gripes I was able to address them to Jeep last month when I typed a letter and sent it regular mail to them. I initially tried to email the letter to them through their web site, but no luck due to connectivity/server issues on their end. Anyway, as for the 3 gripes I found for the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, one of them is about the battery placement. As for the 1st gripe, believe it or not the battery in the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee is actually under the front passenger seat. Yep. That's the location for the battery. In the letter I mentioned that the battery should be under the hood where it belongs. The 2nd gripe I was able to mention is the rear passenger floor hump. My generation Grand Cherokee which is the 3rd generation had the floor hump and unfortunately the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee has it as well. Finally, the 3rd gripe I mentioned to them was the cargo space. Overall, the cargo capacity isn't bad for the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it could've been better based on cargo space found from the other mid-size SUV competitors. As a whole, here is the overall layout for each generation Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles from the 1st generation to the current generation. The first generation Jeep Grand Cherokee which included model years 1993 to 1998 had the cargo capacity at 79 cu ft of space. The 2nd generation Jeep Grand Cherokee which included model years 1999 to 2004 had the cargo capacity to 72 cu ft of space. The 3rd generation Jeep Grand Cherokee which I have included model years 2005 to 2010 had the cargo capacity to 70 cu ft of space. Now, for the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee which includes model years 2011 to present has the cargo capacity to 68 cu ft of space. I'm sure you see the unfortunate downward trend in the cargo department when each generation comes out despite having longer vehicle length for each. The space mentioned for all four generation Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles is obviously when the seats are folded down. I hope when the next generation....5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee arrives, Jeep would make improvements in those three gripes I mentioned. In the letter I sent to Jeep I also mentioned things I liked in the current generation Jeep Grand Cherokee such as the performance, features, ride comfort and the exterior design schematics, 😀😀 . Another thing I mentioned to Jeep in the letter I sent were features Jeep Grand Cherokee owners like myself and others would like to see when the upcoming 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee arrives. These features include one touch automatic up/down for all power windows, couple more additional driver autonomous features on top of what's currently available, thigh extender for the driver & front passenger seats, seat memory setting for the front passenger seat, heated/ventilated seats for all seats along with three stage adjustable settings, power folding rear seats, foot activated lift gate, temperature controlled cup holders, heads up display, increase the infotainment screen size to 10 inches or 12 inches, couple additional USB ports and for additional safety have a surround view camera. I hope some to most of the features I mentioned would have well implementation for the upcoming 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee. Let's see what happens when the time comes 👍👍.

Jeffery Baxter OUTSTANDING FEEDBACK!! Wow! I absolutely love your ideas. Especially seat memory settings for driver and passenger. (I have a 16 year old son) who constantly shifts the passenger seat (back portion) waaaaay back. So it would be great to be already in position for him by the click of a button. Being that My Mom and Son are usually both passengers, I notice a tug of war between the two of them with seat adjustments. 🤣🤣 Here are some “gripes” I’ve noticed as well. I Totally agree with you regarding cargo space. Although it’s longer than my Jeep Liberty, I did realize it seemed smaller in regards to width regarding cargo space. Also, I find the side view mirrors to be very small. It will definitely take some eye adjustment on my part. I find it hard to get a clear view. (I am sure it’s just me) Because, I like to sit high up when I drive, (also, because I am still getting used to the vehicle) I find the rear view mirror to be “some what” in the way when driving. I feel as though it could have been a bit higher when placed in the vehicle. It’s sits pretty low (in my opinion). I am sure this is something I will get used to. In regards to the back of the seats, one thing I totally can’t stand and I noticed this with the passenger seat in the Liberty, the hard backs, this is somewhat uncomfortable for a person sitting behind me. Why not make the back of the seats soft? Why are they hard? Also, if I have to stop short and press down on the brakes, that’s going to be a killer on the knees for a back seat passenger. Yes, I am aware of and I am totally not a fan of the battery being under the passenger seat. Which now, (if when it needs to be replaced and or repaired) they will have to remove the passenger seat? That sounds like I’ll be paying an arm and a leg for labor costs, which could have been avoided had it been placed under the hood. I assume this is done purposely so you will have no choice but to take it to a Mechanic.🤣🤣🤣. I too, have not gone back to car since getting into an SUV. Also, to go back, you had some really cool cars, I too have had a VW Jetta (well my Mom had it) but I loved it. I fell in love with the look of driving stick shift from the Jetta. My Mom and Dad We’re huge VW fans both had Beatles in the 80’s. I truly hope Jeep takes into consideration your ideas and I hope to see some of your suggested features in the new generation Cherokees.

The start/stop feature can be turned off but every time you start the vehicle. This to me is a bs idea. You are not using as lot of fuel idling at a stop but when this high tech starter takes a shit I'm sure you will more than pay for that gas you saved with a new starter and labor, right after the warrantee runs out.

@@jaydenthompson1747 I've use the "manual" shift and attempted to shift into 9th, but no matter what speed I'm going it will only get to 8 th. It seems more like a marketing ploy since the load and rpm ratio do not seem to allow for the real use of 9th gear

Hey man.. your cars look nice and cool but your company should focus more on car reliability and drivability with grand Cherokee like some others Japanese car brand. I used to have grand Cherokee and now I’m thinking to buy another one but I don’t see and change on the down skin of the car.! We need this beauty car to be very light in order to improve its drivability..

2019 Cherokee Limited and a 2019 Wrangler JLU Sahara. My wife and I love our vehicles. We traded in her Mazda CX-5 and my Kia Sorento SXL-V6. Both of those purchased based on Consumer Reports ratings. However, we LOVE our Jeeps so much more then the Mazda and Kia. 8000 miles on both and both perfect. Even the Mazda had to have a speaker replaced and a rattle fixed in the first 5000 miles. Consumer Reports always seems to rate Jeeps lower then most other SUV's and they are positively wrong on the Jeeps. They are delusional in thinking that the Mazda and Kia rides and drives better. The Mazda had a rough ride, was noisy, and had very hard seats. The Cherokee has sumptuous seats, very quiet and a very comfortable ride. The Kia, bored me to tears. Anyway, love our Jeeps!!!!. PS. I've had 7 Wranglers (CJ, XJ, TJ) and loved all of them.
