Here is a video on our stock T880 bunk with the 40" sleeper. The truck is set up with a 565 Cummins X15, 18 speed manual, 14,600 front axle and 46,000 rear axle. Full locking differentials on Kenworth AG460 suspension. We have several in stock ready for delivery so give me a call if you are interested.

Hey Andy... Something I'm curious about. The down loadable brochures on kenworth's website show only a few options on sleepers... I really like the triple window back wall they show with the 40" sleeper... is that an option that you can spec into the other sleeper sizes if you want?

The Kenworth T880 sold in Mexico has the 3 piece Aerodynamic painted bumper with the fog lights, Does the North American Market get that option too??

Like the trucks only thing I'd change would be the front wheels. 22.5 × 9" or 24×9" with the offsets look better to me. Plus I hear that they give you a lil bit better turning radius. Thanks for posting!

I agree. Even 385 wide base tires look pretty good too.

Andy The Kenworth Guy I think the black fender extender's is what threw me off. Use to see those on the wide base tire trucks. We have 2 T880's with the 52" sleepers with those same wheels minus the femder extenders. I like the way these trucks are spec'd.

We spec the T800 we have in stock with the fender extensions which in my opinion looks better than the T880.

I'd also want side windows & a auto trans. No wet kit. But for my 12 hour shifts this truck fits my needs.

autos feel like more work to me switching when im constantly switching to manual mode for downhills/uphills

@@OhKnow379 you stay in manual mode, then paddle up or down. On hill climbs I will paddle to 9th but once @ speed it stays in 10th until I drag down to 61mph then I'll pop 9th again.

I always thought the 880 was a newer version of the T800 but i know they still make both. So what advantages to each trucks have over each other? Because they look pretty similar just the 800 is older

The intention was to discontinue the T800 but sales stayed strong. I have several videos on both models which outlines many of the differences. The big one is cab size.

Happy they didn't discontinue it. I would be crying. The T800 always i had a soft spot for. Always loved how it looked and all the different applications it can be good for. Always grew up as a kid liking them. Also im impressed the W900 isn't discontinued! Would be super sad if it was

Is the Breakaway mirror like a car were it's for parking or is it so the mirror don't break off if it gets hit on a job site?

If you’re using it for parking you’re going to be really close to the truck beside you. It’s more for preventing it from damaging it if you had it in a construction site or trees in a residential area. Thanks for watching.

I’m stuck in one of these coffins with an 80lb dog while my 80 inch sleeper peterbuilt is getting repaired again.. constantly in the shop. It’s hell in that tiny sleeper.

always considered that 40" bunk the best in the industry for overnight runs. wet kit with a bunk. i wonder where this unit will be working .

@@AndyTheKenworthGuy I've got the choice of a new one with the X15 efficiency but I currently drive a glider with a 6NZ caterpillar I'm reluctant because I don't see it running and pulling like that CAT

The 605 2050 is hard to beat. The 6NZ is a tough engine though.

Depending on the application it should work ok. If your hauling 140,000 I wouldn’t suggest anything less thank 565 @ 1850.

The only thing nice about this truck are the wheels/tires, mudflaps/chrome hangers, clearance lights on top of the cab, & the Kenworth logo. Very ugly shape & design in my opinion.
