I use a 1290 SAR as my daily driver/everything vehicle and I couldn't be happier. It's fast in a way that has to be experienced to be believed. Wheelies are frequent and effortless.
I just picked up the exact same paint scheme 1290. This is my second one I used to have a 2016. Very powerful and very comfortable for a 6-foot one tall rider. Love my 1290 more power mods coming. Great video!
I'm looking very seriously at one of these as a daily, I'm the same height as you are and currently daily a 09 CB1000r. Is it comfortable after a couple hours?
Harshith Shetty not anymore buddy. Kawa launched its supercharged naked ZH2 and Ducati came out with streetfighter v4. The superduke now lacks about 20 hp to compete with them.
Kaushik buddy the v4 streetfighter is not only about 25 bhp more powerful but way lighter too, I assume that bike has surely taken the crown away from the super duke!

MotoSafari I found a 2017 for $13,900 here in Denver at a used bike dealership however it’s sold. The guy told me it’s been sold 3 times so if this buyer falls through he’s gonna call me. Then I’ll be in business! Or I spend $5k more and go brand new.

I own a 390, I mostly use it to commute to work and tear up some twisty roads on weekends. I’ve been on both a 790 and 1290 but if I had to just make a decision without concern of money of course I’d go 1290 but considering I won’t have the expendable loot for the 1290 with the insurance premiums, my next step up will most likely be the 790.
just took my 2017 sdr from los angeles to san francisco and back, quick shot, one day up one day back down along Big Sur on PCH. btw there is NO other bike I would ride. The sdr makes anyone better in twisty canyons, long sweepers and along the cliffs of PCH from Monterey to LA. ultimately flickable, on a rail thru turns and faster than anything. this torque is real from low revs to psycho red line. review the specs, the V4 , monster, et all do not have the torque. try it in Performance Mode. This bike will spoil you.
I want this bike but make it black and put on a new exhaust/ or a muffler delete. But I would do this on a Yamaha zf07 which is my dream beginner motorcycle
I am waiting the answer from the bank to switch my Ducati Monster 1200S 2k18 for this beast... one advice, never go to KTM test ride day... it will fuck everything!
