I bought a 2019 and I am thoroughly hooked. I love this car almost as much as my gal (had to say 'almost' for personal safety reasons). I love the luxury feel in standard mode. I love the power and the sound it makes in sports mode. I love the luxury touches like massage seats. I love the way heads turn when I drive by. Having used several computers with touch pads I quickly got used to this one. And... I know I own the car rated most reliable on the road. For the environment, since I do my longest stretches in a land that makes electricity by burning coal, I love the fact that as fast as I can drive it safely, because of 10 forward gears, the tach still says 1,500 rpm.

I would get this hands down without hesitation. It's far more reliable in terms of electronics, engine, and transmission. So what if it doesn't have a V8 or 500+ hp??? It's a smooth boulevard cruiser and there's an F-Sport model if you want a firmer ride.
@AbsolutMassager
@AbsolutMassager 5 лет назад
Btw the reason why the infotainment is troublesome is because they put more money/tech into voice control and recognition. The model I tested was able to translate/input my use of 5 different languages I learned. It brought up the Massage menu when I pressed voice input from the steering wheel button selection and say “Massage” in which I could control it from there or voice and of the selectable options. I honestly don’t get why so so so many reviewers don’t take notice to it. In a world where we are becoming more hands free.....
@craigsmith4518
@craigsmith4518 4 года назад
Exactly! Lexus focused on giving the driver control of the vehicles most used features, without having to leave their natural DRIVING position. I suspect most reviewers never go through the delivery process of actual owners and thus aren't aware of Lexus intentions.

My neighbor has a Mercedes. I rarely see it in her driveway. She has a dealer rental at least every 3 weeks of the month. This month shes had 3 different rentals so far. Meanwhile my 7 year old Honda suv has never given me a single problem. Oh, before that her Range Rover was just as bad. And lets not even mention maintenance cost.

Spurs Dynasty73 doesn’t apply to everyone but those who can afford buy those cars like a Range Rover or Mercedes S class are buying for looks, build quality, craftsmanship and fit and finish of well done interiors and exteriors. When it comes to reliability and affordability that’s not the main concern in that price range. It’s just not. Not saying it doesn’t come into factor but it’s at the top of most people’s list in that price range.

OK I just bought a 2020 Lexus LS 500 all-wheel-drive inspiration series with the specific color that goes with the inspiration series and I traded in a 2018 E400 coupe’. It was the only build of its kind in America according to Mercedes Benz so it cost around $93,000. The first thing that I would like everybody to know is that I have owned two S class Mercedes Benz. both with the equivalent executive package. So I consider myself an expert when it comes to these kind of cars. My E400 had a 23 speaker Burmeister stereo system in it. My Lexus inspiration series has a 23 speaker Mark Levinson stereo system. I know I’m going to make all the Lexus fan-boys upset but that Mark Levinson system comes nowhere close to that Mercedes-Benz Burmeister system. So instead of getting into a whole bunch of stuff that’s going to tick people off. Let me get to the bottom line if you want quality, refinement, and just pure opulence then you want the Lexus. If you’re into technology and gadgets and performance then you want the Mercedes at the end of the day Lexus is going to last. Mercedes is designed according to Mercedes Benz to trade in every 4 to 5 years and get a new one but the Lexus you can keep for 25 or 30 years if you want. I’ve had several Mercedes Benz I just got tired of going to the shop every time it had an issue which was plenty! Lexus I just drive it and change the oil they both cost $120,000 but at the end of the day I’m getting more for my money with the Lexus.
