I mean...I don't even think makeup is really something you can get "stuck" in a year or period. I think it just depends on what you are into. It feels to me like there's not really a particular style that is really trending right now. It seems to me that people can wear whatever they want and if it looks good on them then it's a good style.
As a teen I remember most people would follow the Instaglam/Kardashian family style of makeup, often limited to neutral and warm tones. That sunset eye was probably a more wearable colourful look considering the orange and pink. Colourful eyeshadow was worn mainly by your one makeup obsessed friend for special looks, beauty influencers online and employees at Sephora.
@@user-tk4gr9zo7t Honestly I saw many people in HS walking around with colorful eyeshadow. I would go to the mall on a random Tuesday and would see many colorful eyeshadow looks. A lot of them were usually warmer toned, but still colorful. Your point doesn't really contradict mine at all.
That’s why I don’t follow makeup trends I do whatever the heck I want with my make up because the more make up trends, you follow your following somebody else’s idea of what it’s beautiful, but the more techniques you find out with make up, especially with eyeshadow looks the more you have under your belt in the easier it is to create different looks
I think both are very pretty. But honestly, i love the "2019" look. I still do mine like that bc i love my make up to be a little dramatic. Or glittery! Lol. And i love wearing lashes that are a little dramatic. Its so fun.
I’m now realizing that I need to revamp my makeup routine. I’ve been stuck doing what I’ve learned from 2017-2019, and it’s so dated now. So much has changed with makeup over the years! Especially the tutorials on RU-vid now versus back then.
I really like the present one because it just seems a lot more natural but then also the past one is just so pretty and colourful both are infinite out of ten just spectacular❤
