Thanks! I think the car should be driven how it's intended to by the manufacturer. Having the AMG-Line might make it look a bit more sporty but it's definitely not. Comfort is where it's at with the C-Class I think! Thanks for the clarification on the gearbox having 9 speeds. Perhaps I was going too slow when trying to manually shift through the gears to reach 9th. Crazy that cars nowadays come with over 9 speeds.
