This Twin Turbo Charged 36 valved 24 spark plug V12 masterpiece of engine craft was invincible and without equal over 50mph. Feels like riding a tidal wave of torque down a waterfall from 50 to 150mph and was strongest when fastest. An S63 will be quicker to 60, but an S65 will be quicker after 60. Autobahn breeding at it's best.
Whenever you see an S65 on the road, whether W220, W221 or W222, you get a certain vibe unlike seeing any other Benz on the road. Like the driver is someone special and they know it.
P.S...if RU-vid hadn't changed their algorithm 4 years ago, I would be driving one, and have the AMG GT-R in he garage for the summer....but alas...all I do now is dream..lol ..keep up the great work !
When I fantasize about winning the lottery, this car is the first thing I buy after paying off my bills. It would be such an epic road trip, visiting my family one by one and giving them a big fat "you don't have to work anymore" check.

Damn I was really hoping they would have just redesigned the v12 and not kill it off completely in the core Merc’s, as the once owner of a 2007 s65 the m277/m279 motor was a gem of not a little outdated but compared to the w12, and bmw v12’s it was the most reliable, was able to make big power and sounded great!
The Soundcheck is on another S65 Amg, because you can see in the video that the steering wheel has not the final edition emblem and you can see that there is no smoke coming out of the taillights. The sound comes also from the inside as a house or garage. It would have another sound if it would be in the outside
