I havent been able to drive since like 2010, but my last truck was a 2005 Ram with the HEMI, and i tried all the exhausts on it, magnaflow, flowmaster, the last was the Borla Pro XS, and by FAR was the best sounding exhaust ive ever heard. I can still remember till this day, walking in to pick up my truck and the guy at the desk asking me, what kind of muffler is that?? Sounds GOOD!!

Not sure why they keep the resonators on these trucks, the ProXS is already a very mild muffler.

I don’t understand why people spend 300 for a muffler and then spend 400-500 at a shop for the same sound as stock lol… it is quiet like a church mouse.

I got mine straight piped and I wanted the resonators cut off but they said cutting the resonators on these truck doesn’t do anything does anyone know if that’s true ?

I cut my muffler and resonators off. Not a straight pipe unless take the cats off, or so what I’ve been told. Mines pretty loud. I started with my resonators getting cut which did make it a little louder/deeper.
