Ram did an excellent job on the interior, however, it’s not a “new” body style. This is more of a 4.5 Gen. When they release the new HD cab design, that’ll be the legit 5th Gen.
All stock tires are junk. Manufacturers(tire) make two identical types. One for vehicle manufacturers and the other for consumer sales. The only criteria for for the first mentioned is quiet and gas saving; not longevity.
Along with 80% of American truck owners. Now their playing with 72 month loans and cars are being repossessed in greater numbers than last year. People can't afford these.
When will one of the big 3 have the balls yo design a dually with something besides 17 inch wheels. It drives me crazy that it’s been decades and that hasn’t changed. Every other truck has 18 or 20 inch options and duallys just get the same wheels slapped on for decades. Rams had the same wheel for years, ford years, GM years.
Totally new body design. New interior design and added safety and feature options inside and out including Blind Spot, Adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning. Add a 360 camera option, power drop down tailgate, and power running boards. Quite a lot of enhancements when you dig into it.

This is the same Gen 4 body, same interior que's door panels, same floor board, same situation with the backseat in a mega cab etc. Enhaced Gen 4 only. I'm a Ram buyer & owner yet let's have an honest conversation about the new HD... Its not a new body as was the 2019 Ram 1500.

@@55afishead I drive a 2018 Ram 3500 mega cab Longhorn edition on 37s BDS & FOX. I also own a 2019 Ford F450. No Ecoboost here brother. No one here disputes the additional features, what I don't care for is the new price point & a claim by Fiat Chrysler that it's a Gen 5 with the same ole body, same issue with the rear seat in the mega cab not folding up, same ole floor board, same door panel ques etc. Ram needed the new & roomier crew cab they implemented in the new 2019 Ram 1500. It's that simple brother.
@@vojnikjna30 I've owned 1/2 trucks all my life. Had Tahoe's, 08 ram with the hemi. That was until I got a 3/4 ton. Everything about it is a truck. Its heavy duty, tow/haul anything without effort. I loved the ram, drove sharp like a sports car, but when I towed the boat it was exhausting.
Why would Motor Trend give it lease reliable on a truck that just came out? Also why would I point out something negative on a promotional video for the truck? Also I am not a salesman. Thanks!
