Greetings Reuben! This is the boat I decided on. A 2018 model. My second Regal cruiser. Being from the southeastern US, compared to this boat, my boat is equipped with HVAC, genset, upgraded stereo, cockpit refrigerator drawer, chartplotter, and perhaps a few other items. It looks like the 2019 model has several improvements. Excellent value. Great review!
Wow! What a lovely pocket cruiser. Such good use of all the space. They didn’t miss a trick. That 300 hp V8 will push this vessel along perfectly and cruise on plane at around 25 knots or so.
As always, an excellent thorough review. Also, thank you for sharing with us that you own a Regal. This is important because you know your boats and your family had a Sealine (if I'm not mistaken). Is there much of a difference in build quality between a Regal and a Bayliner? I believe the latter has discontinued making large boats here in the US.
Not that it matters but we own a Crownline 250CR which has virtually the same hull and deck layout. It's the same with the Monterey. This hull design dates back to 2003~2004 and it seems to have stood the test of time. Crownline say they make the hull, Monterey say they make the hull and Regal doubtless the same - just seems strange they all made them virtually identical. Anyone know the answer?
