1:19 just a tip to add to your very good procedure if you look through the center of this headrest retainer there is a groove stick your screw driver in it and pry the release free much easier to see when you already have it removed but comes out much easier

I did find a fourth 10 mm bolt under the seat. But your use of plastic tools. And caring about the customer is what matters the most.

Rear sliding window probably leaking if so I just did my rear window with clear silicone. It quit leaking for now until I get time to pull head liner and seat . Took about a hr as I used blue painters tape and took my time . Also went around top of 3rd brake light . Dealer told me when I bought truck someone left rear window cracked. Big lie . Lots of electrical behind seat .

New subscriber here. Great video on the rear seat removal. I am trying to find access behind the rear seat to route coax cable for radios. Ihave heard some have used the vents and others drill a hole. If I have to drill, I might want to not mess with seat removal and just pull back the carpet to see what I can see. If I do drill, I need to provide sealed access and not just a grommet with wires going through, but I will deal with that later. Oh, on more thing on my coax … there is floor access under the front seats but I don’t want to make that tight of a U-Turn with the coax just in cast the bend radius isn’t that tight. Hope this all makes sense. Thanks again for the video and showing how to remove the rear seat if I need to.

Hey man… I have a question… I’m the video when you said we intercepted the wires… What exactly did that mean? Is that a factory amp? Do all of the 2019 and up have these on the back wall? I’d love to know more about what you did there. I’m guessing line out inverter… If so what color wires?

If you have a factory amplified system, that's where the amp is, and you can grab signal from there. We used an Audio Control LC2i to obtain signal.

@@AnthonyJ350 I actually grabbed signal by the kick panel on the passenger side front door. I had no clue you could grab from back there. So what does that amp power? Is that for a Bose system?

Anyone know if you need to worry about the noise cancelling feature when daisy chaining auxiliary amplification? Will the BOSE system panic if its outputs feed an impedience adapter as opposed to the o.e. speakers?

NAV TV has some nice integration modules for a clean signal and helping maintain factory features.

@@AnthonyJ350 This comment should have 1000 thumbs up. I just took measurements of my Bose Hi/Low fronts and Full range rears, and just about died when I saw how molested the signal was. If these truely break out a flat 10-20k, Id call it a requirement for anyone serious.

@@andyh8239 I think that's why the NAV TV piece sells well. Takes a lot of guess work out. It's a shame how off these factory systems are, just for proper audio signal.

@@AnthonyJ350 No doubt, wish I could upload the calibrated measurements here. I could totally understsnd the amp having a wacky signal all over the place (for correction) if the end result were a clean acoustic response, however it is far from it. Much of the ugly signal is visible in the acoustic plot. Blows my mind that they did such a bad job.

@@andyh8239 That's most factory systems. Might be the limitations of the speakers and power from the amp. So they do weird stuff to make sure customers don't blow up speakers.

It looks like my 2020 Sierra is the same as what you have period I also am getting that loc you have from audio control but is there room for an amplifier? I want to install an amplifier back there as well for my subs. is this possible? Because I do see people that do it online but it doesn't look like There's room. Any help would be great and I greatly appreciate your video as it's going to help me get this project done. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this

I think they're 6X9. You'll need a speaker adaptor.
