My GOD!!!! There is nothing like the pipes and drums. The Scots sure know how to send chills down your spine. My uncle was in a pipe band here in Canada. He was a drummer. It was amazing to see him march in the parades. We had a big Scottish festival in the area I lived in. It was in a town called Fergus and it was in the summer of each year. Pipe bands from all over the world would come. It was BRILLIANT!!!!! to see. They would also have Highland games and traditional dancing competitions.

How exciting to see all the very young bands-people that will ensure that the pipe bands will continue well into the future.

My surname is Ferguson, my mother’s maiden name is Lucas (a sept of the Lamont Clan, and my maternal grandmother’s maiden name is Wallace…so I consider myself a lad who is VERY proud of my Scottish family roots, and I absolutely LOVE the bagpipes. 🙏👍💥🤩🤞

Little by inch...I learn something. I love this so much. Please tell me how it seems everyone in Scotland plays the bagpipes? Do you start them early? I love your culture so much. Thank you from America. God bless.

Money Bus I am one of the snare drummers in Burntisland and so not quite everyone plays the bagpipes but I’m glad you like our culture. Pitlochry is one of the best competitions if not the best. There are always a lot of tourists there. Your welcome Fay Scotland. God bless you too

Great video. I couldn’t help noticing though that the band at 7.10 were all out of step (except one snare drummer). The left foot should hit the ground with the first beat in the bar with tunes in 4/4 time.

Isn't little bit strange that women wear a same length kilt as men?? Isn't they should wear a shorter kilt than men?
@johnhuddleston8647

In a pipe band....No!! The only changes that are allowed is that the drum corp can wear a different color tartan.

It does sound great. But I’ve noticed many bagpipe players seem very geeky 😉
