I'm looking at the 2018 gsxr 600 as my second bike. I love the look of them, and I especially love how suzuki integrated the turn signals into the mirrors and tail so when you get a fender eliminator that back end is SUPER clean. Plus the way the back signals are put into the tail is really aesthetically pleasing.
The ultimate street machine. I just sold my K5 and bought a 2018 gsxr 1000R in white. Love Suzuki street bikes. I had a 750 way back in 1996. Most fun I've had in the streets. Nothing like the 750. The absolute sweet spot
Also pro tip for anyone who get's the Rizoma Brake reservoir, use Loctite on the bracket that holds the brake fluid up. The fluid container tipped while I was riding because the bracket didn't hold it in place well enough, but Loctite fixed that.
@@Hades-Siredsend more fluid to the brakes and increase as well as smooth out the delivery of braking which increases ones safety and braking power on the road.
I done the - 1 + 2 on mine and it made it sooooo much stronger I couldn’t believe it. I can run busa’s to 150 before they leave me. But from 0 - 150 I’ll run anyone out their life on any stock 1000 or up bikes.
Sorry to ask men, where did you buy your night light kit and much if I may ask and which model is this. Could you send the link please. Greetings from Amsterdam 😊
I bought it from a local shop, but the pricing is the same on Revzilla. It's the mini version. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/xk-glow-xkchrome-app-controled-light-kit-motorcycle?sku_id=1159488
The mini comes with 6 lights pods. And 2 four inch light strips. The standard and higher comes with nine inch strips which are just too long in my opinion. So I went with the mini.
does not having abs take any effect on how confident you ride this bike? I really want this bike but a little bit on a scared side cuz of not having abs. I just wanna hear your thoughts on it. Thank you
Feel like it depends on the passenger. I've had really good passengers who know when to lean into turns, lean off me at stops, and I have a headset for my helmet which makes communication easy. So 2 hour long rides aren't bad if they know what they are doing. But when you have people who deathgrip you and put their body weight on you an hour max is enough for me and I'm pretty built. Just give instructions to the rider prior to riding with them and you'll be good for an hour tops.
It's a wrist throttle control, instead of wrenching and clutching your hand to give the bike gas you can sit your palm on the throttle to give gas instead. Super nice! They most likely sell it at your nearest motorcycle store.
Bro thanks.. XK Glow Kit.. get this though.. it was stolen a day before my birthday a couple weeks ago.. and just found out that it was totalled in an accident lol..
Ya.. I like my privacy in terms of where I live.. pretty sure a resident here told them about the bike.. it was in a secured garage with cameras everywhere.. they pulled a truck in and drove off with it..
@@affliction3717 lol! Very lucky man! That’s my freaking dream bike bro! Be safe out there bro there’s idiots everywhere. Shit I’m suprised no ones ever tried stealing my bike..
It was lack of understanding of what a full exhaust did for the bike, and pure laziness to doing research on it at the time haha. Will be getting the full setup in the near future though!
@@affliction3717 Understood. I too have the same model Gsxr750 but am torn between getting a slip on or full exhaust solely because i don't know what the difference is either other then the weight and price lol The TRC-D Yoshimura is what i have been looking to get also.
@@abellerma8300 Nice! I mean my bike sounds great with just the slip on! So if its a price thing get just the slip on! I'll need to do more research into the subject though!
It's very comfortable actually for how much the lean is. Went on a 4 day bike trip and felt fine throughout it all! Highly recommend sitting on one at a dealership to get the feel!
Should have just done a 750 swap in your old bike... and when you say you need a bike bigger for your body... that 2019 is probably smaller... also the exact same bike as a 2011 750.... but... at the very least... that yoshimura is reflecting beautifully in the sun...
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what in the throttle paddle is that!??!!?!? I am not seeing the palm thing on the throttle in the list, WHAT IS THAT CALLED!?!!? that looks like a wrist saver. Throttle Rocker?
It's a "throttle wrist rest" there are different kinds of them if you search that quote above on Amazon. But they also have them at most motorcycle sellers. Highly recommend it!
@@affliction3717 Yeah I started googling stuff and found one that I like. Your bike is sick AF. I picked up a 23' GSX R-750Z last week and am starting to look for things I can improve/mod. Thanks again for responding and thanks for the video.
hey big boss..time for some red OZ carbon rims yet?..the first mod i did on mine was the super bright headlight ..took me 5 mins 26 bucks auto parts store
It's a throttle wrist rest control. You attach it so that you don't need to crank the throttle with your full wrist. If you type "motorcycle wrist throttle" into Google you'll get lots of options.
@@affliction3717 Which kit did you get / use? Thanks in advance. ( Very nice bike btw. I have a 2017 750 ) Also, if I can ask, how do you like the palm throttle control?
@@jshawley It was the 8 light kit from XKGlow. It's two LEAD strips and 6 Light bulbs. Anything more than that would be overkill on the bike. I love the throttle control from the palm rest. My hands won't cramp from squeezing the throttle bar when I use the palm control. Highly recommend it for longs rides too.. less stress on the wrist.
Added the prices of items in the description just now.. Wouldn't be able to tell you tax.. I'd have to compile. Pretty sure I saved over $1500 in labor costs though since I added the mods myself. They were charging $600 for the light kit alone and I was like nope, I'll do all of this myself haha
They should have added the tail light design of the newer gsxr 1000. This fat rear light design looks really outdated. That's the only problem I have with the bike which otherwise is a fantastic package.
Here is the link I used to install it. But make sure you follow each step closely because there is a main bolt you do not want to accidentally unscrew on both sides ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-no2cqXSEwLs.html
since 2007-09, he was so beautiful, and this one is just terrible with such a face, some cheap hayabusa, what is going on in the heads of designers in Japan is unclear
Affliction dang, I’ve been trying to find it online. Just bought the red stickers for all around. I got the 2020 black and it comes with the white decals.
@@mrpdr10 Nice! Great bike, took me a minute to actually like the headlight XD If you get the XK Kit it'll tell you where to connect it to get the brakes to work with LEDs. But just know it is a pain in the ass to wire for our bike. Also pro tip.. Electrical tape wrap the connecters where the battery is.. when you sit on the bike it'll disconnect the wires.. only way around it is to wrap them tightly in electrical tape.
For sure, but my previous bike was used and I swear the tank is skinnier than my 750. It even looks wider on this new bike. My old bikes tank looks like it's sides are indented. Where this new one is filled out and not skinny. My legs actually wrap around it comfortably now which is super nice!
