I just installed this exact kit on my 2019 Sienna XLE, the video was very helpful. But a few tips/mods for anybody else: -Install your unit/wiring on the right/passenger side, not the left. There is more room ro work/hide/access. -If installing on the right you should have a 12v cigarette outlet. I ran my power cable off of that (black wire off the black box). I just unplugged the wire from the 12v outlet (dont firget to disconnect your Neg battery wire). I cut the black wire on the 12v cigarette outlet (theoretically it doesnt matter which one you cut), exposed a little bare wire, and attached my black power wire from the box to that. This way you dont have to run a wire to your engine bay. -My kit didnt come with a spot to put a fuse, so i bought an in-line fuse holder thing from an auto parts store. It did come with a 10 fuse however. -If you install everything on the passenger side, that means your green wire goes to the driver side. -If you do this (passenger side install), you need to cut the green and yellow wires on the trailer side/downstream of your black box. Connect the green to yellow, and yellow to the green. Essentially what you are doing is correcting your turn signals since you installed it backwards. If you dont do this your trailer turn signals will be backwards. Pretty easy, overall, but it does take a few hours. I bought black plastic wire covering, and the mount mentioned at the end of the video.
Great advice and lighter is my plan. Since lighter circuit is fused, I was not planning on adding another if not already in the wiring harness coming next week. Nice post. Thanks.
