The Triumph Street Twin has turned to be the most successful Bonneville, as far as the current generation of Bonnies are concerned. It's likeable design, brilliant engine refinement and performance and nimble handling have seen it find favour with younger and older riders alike. The Triumph Street Scrambler has been an interesting addition to the Bonneville family too and comes with an extra dollop of fun and a bit of off-road ability. Triumph recently updated both motorcycles for 2019 and both bikes are more powerful now and also get an improved electronics suite. We rode the duo in Portugal and came back impressed. Here's our video telling you about our experience with the two bikes.

Just wish. The street twin would have been a lil more bulky with wider fuel tank & shock absorbers. It would have give much more road presence then !

I have a question. I’m interested in buying the street scrambler but the dealers themselves told me that the heat shields are not effective in Indian conditions and your legs can be burnt. Is this true ? I got a very short test ride on it so I can’t come to any conclusion.

It's a 900 cc engine so there's bound to be a fair amount of heat. The RE Himalayan with a 411cc power plant gets pretty hot in bumper to bumper traffic. The Interceptor too. I also ride a Triumph Tiger 800 XCx and even though it does get pretty hot, it's rideable. IMHO the Scrambler looks wicked. I guess you'll just have to wait until someone posts a review in India. 😁👍

Don't use fat riders while shooting bike reviews. This guy is good at vocal reviews but fails on bike, failed several times on corners. This is complete blunder!!!
