@@Tinker.Studio you just might be lucky brudda...when I was a youngin' my mom would bake a cake for new neighbors...when I was 20ish, I did the same...when the 90s rolled through, I was raising my kids to do the same...in the early 2000s, little "wannabe" thugs(juggalos n shit) were tryin' to bring "thuggish assitudes" to the suburbs...when 911 happened, some of the kids(like my son) decided to join the military to protect our country and others in their countries...now, the kids coming up want free everything(not all)...when I moved to N.C. in 2k4, the neighbors on one side were a Vietnam era Army sniper and his wife and o the other side, a young couple with 2 boys and his mama lived behind them in a small cabin...the dad was a decent man who worked his ass off and his wife was a nurse...their boys rode 4 wheelers and used to kick rocks into our yard and after several times of calmly talking to their mother about it(and no stopping of the behaviour), I constructed a 6ft. privacy fence...the dad saw me one day and came over and asked why the fence? I thought he was being a smart ass, and I told him this...it turns out that his wife never told him about the situation...I heard the boys both get their asses tore up and figured that would be the end of it...next day, one of the boys came over to apologize to me and asked what he could do to make amends...I told him that I needed help eating some ice cream cones....he readily agreed that there was entirely too many ice cream cones and that we must devour them post haste...his brother who refused to come apologize because his mother said that they had done nothing wrong, said that he would never apologize no matter how many ice cream cones there were...he ended up living in his parents house(they both died young) and decided that he hadn't been enough of a prick when he was little, and he tried me on as an adult...he would throw rocks at the fence and damage it...one day I was outback running my dog(I'm disabled and I used a wheelchair) and a decent sized rock came flying over the fence really close to me and the pooch...I hollered wth are you throwing f'n rocks for? I'm playing with my dog was his response...I told him to knock it off and thought it was over...he said something really low and I said speak up, your daddy taught you not to be rude...so the little punk threatens to "kick my ass"...I ran my chair to the edge of the fence and told him come closer so that I don't have to crawl after you...he retreated, mumbling about how it's not fair(he's f'n 27), I just smiled and said that I know it wasn't fair to him...in direct contrast was the sniper and his wife on the other side...people whom I met because my son asked who the next door neighbor was and I answered that I didn't know....my wife and I had a small gift shop and we were quite busy day it...my son came home on leave from Iraq and went over, introduced himself and drug the poor guy over to meet me because "we had so much in common"...he came up with the same kind of mom and apologized profusely for being so rude...I said no worries and he was a great friend until he passed last winter...sometimes you can really avoid a pos, as 1/2 of the couple of one side of us, or, if you don't reach out, you could really miss out on someone like the sniper next door, I never felt safer even though my wife and I are trained and armed...hoorah, đã wõõķìëë...
I just found another great channel to entertain me. I’am an old guy 78 years old and sorta shut in right now. Thanks so much for a super good video about your on the road home. I live out here in Nevada and enjoy seeing other parts of our country. Keep the videos rolling and you seem like a nice couple and decent young folks(compared to me). Ha, thanks so much.
@@mzwisdom7504 i love idiots. do you not get that that is how much SHE PAID for this rig and slide in? i made and lived on $5,400 in 2019. so... um... FUCK OFF...
The passion these two have for this lifestyle is nothing short of inspiring. You two should be the face of over landing. Cant wait to get into it myself with my SO.
I have a 2014 Tundra, love it and you’ll love yours. I started with a 2006 tacoma and ran it for 150,000 miles with a total repair bill of $972. I traded in 2015 for the Tundra, currently have 93,400 miles and a grand total of $277 worth of repairs. These don’t include maintenance or tire cost just repairs!!! Great vehicles. Love the flatbed and camper!! I run a tow behind. Thanks for showing us this. You made a great choice.
I bought a 2000 4WD Tundra, which was their first year in production, when I lived in Vegas. I owned 40 acres of off-grid, remote land at 5,500 feet in the Cottonwood Mountains that I went to every weekend and holiday. I used the HELL out of this truck, and besides regular maintenance, (including 100K timing belt and water pump replacements), my only real "repair" cost was for replacing a rear leaf spring that I damaged by carrying 1,500 lbs. of CMU block up 1,500 feet of rugged road. I traded it in 15 years later, with over 200,000 miles on it and it still had another good 200K worth of dependable use out of it. I thought about buying a new Tundra, but couldn't bring myself to spend $55,000.
sold my 2011 tundra with 115k miles. only had to pay to replace my right head light bulb. incredible vehicles. terrible mpg though but god i loved the power.
4 months ago I watched this video and you opened the door to a new chapter for me. I didn’t know what a truck camper was, but you inspired me to leave my high priced apartment and move into a truck camper full time.
Your guys camper is soooo fricken cool! Like its honestly one of my favorite builds that i have watched. Sooo much space and its also is like segmented like you said and makes my brain just go “YESS THATS WHAT I WANT IN A MINI CAMPER BUILD”. Thank you for giving me some ideas
It's only 20 minutes, tho. Gacy and Bundy were very personable. And look at that guy who killed his gf and stole her van and just went home...there they were online just like this. Gabby Pietro?
I truly think you two are my fav couple on wheels, something about you two and the way you live and the places you go to actually inspires me deeply. Thank you for that and lots of love from me to you!!
A large carnation creamer plastic container is great for dedicating in! It has a strong screw on lid that’s large enough for those massive rv type dumps. Two people can easy use this container. The container has a built in handle making it possible for throwing great distances! The container is strong so you can bury it like a time capsule. Makes a nice surprise for treasure seekers! I give it a five star rating.
Really like your philosophy on life - Make the most of it! I think you doing just what millions would LOVE to do but don't get to do.(amazing photography by the way!!)
If I ever win a significant enough of money on the lottery, I am mimicking your ride, and your lifestyle, down to the most minute detail. Thank you for the inspiration!
This comment makes no sense. Living in a car isnt about having loads of money so you can. If you think you need a shitload of money to do this it probably isnt for you.
@Rick Smith, I hear what you're saying, but there is a lot of psychology involved when a person makes such a bold move, and it is totally personal. I was raised dirt poor. Like, no shoes in the summertime poor. I have worked extremely hard to proudly proclaim a lower middle class socio economic lifestyle. I know have money in the bank. So, for me, personally, I would have to have indispensable cash, on hand and available, at all times, before I could take a plunge like they have. But hey, I am in absolute awe of folks who can just do it, with little to no money.
At the end she said we are here for a little while lets make the most of it , So True , If you live to be 80 you only live 29000 days , Thats 700000 hours , Enjoy every moment .
QUEEN LIL-BOOTY i swear some folks just don't know how to make these videos. They spend 5-10minutes talking about cabinets. 9:00 is when they show you the inside.
I absolutely freaking love that you did the walk through instead of your husband. You knows your way around a camper, truck, mechanical anything and it shows. I wish more women weren’t intimidated by mechanic stuff. Also I absolutely love your set up. Well planned and thought out.
I watched the original sunrader series. The “trust issues” with a live in vehicle was huge. Spending 9 months building it only to have the back wheels fall off while driving down the road was devastating. This new absolute unit of vehicle is the result of a toxic past vehicle relationship lol
Yea I need atleast 1 hour, some Air conditioning. And Im not poopin for an hour, yet, but its youtube time and just time alone. I wouldn't survive the way they do
I love it! Doing so many things many people cannot enjoy or experience! If you’re able to do it then do it! 1 life to live! Live to your full potential! Don’t have to have a fancy or an expensive rig, just learn how to be resourceful and willing to have patience, learn, and master your rig! Love the video!
You have to be my favorite couple ever; “love ya first Speedo.” 🥰. Also, love your advice on following that pull and just doing it, not spending years and thousands of dollars to make it perfect. I’m definitely doing the rough sketch version and finalizing things as the usage of the space becomes clearer. Other look and probably think “what build??” but for me I have the ability TO GO and that is the most important. I’m after experiences and memories, not Instagram followers.
finding someone as crazy as u are.. and sharing the same dream is something one cant find easily.... love u guys... hope I find someone as crazy as me.. one day....
Wife and I had something similar when we first started camping, but without the 4X4 unfortunately. Love what you two do, but.... couldn't imagine any rig without a toilet!
My favorite part about this couple is that the kitty has a nice inside bathroom with a cute little custom door - and they go to the bathroom outside. 😻
Anyone that hasn’t had children yet. If you aren’t exactly sure about parent hood, give yourself a year or 2 to explore those other things you might enjoy. I came from a time when my classmates graduated in May, and married in June. I truly didn’t even know how to think for myself. Learn at least that skill before attempting to influence other humans that 100% depend on you, THEN when you DO have children, you will be an awesome parent because you helped get yourself into adulthood lol. I’m just watching this youngish couple experiencing our beautiful country, and all they gotta do is keep each other alive, the cat, and make memories. 💟💜💟
WHOA. I met these two in Big Sur a few years back when they were rompin aorund in a Vanagon or some VW I believe. So cool to see them on here. Edit: Started the video haha Vanagon confirmed
I went to high school with her! I unfortunately didn’t get to know her super well, but she was always kind and down to earth. It’s been cool to watch her journey unfold from afar on Facebook, really cool to see her here too! 😃
really enjoyed listening to these two people . that space saving idea of having the shower between the two benches is graet as for most of the time the shower room is never being used , graet idea
The video was very touching I don't know which one was the most romantic the way you two met and became a couple and work together or the the way you two live good together and travel and live freely and see the world together the whole video was just was SO romantically wonderful I just love this video it is really true love story SO keep up the good work and Live ,LOVE ,Laugh 👍👍👍👍
I really wish that the sourpusses here would read this comment, they might understand that life is different for all of us, so we should live according to their experiences and desires...
I'd love to see the truck build. Process, a vlog while on a trip. I'm very interested . My wife and i have been longing to do something like you all are doing. And I certainly agree with you .we are only here on this earth for a short period of time. One of our most fond memories that we share together as a couple is when we took a trip to Alaska she's from California I'm from Texas this was completely out of my wheelhouse and the most memorable trip of my life and every since that trip the open road has been calling us. Thanks guy's
definetly go for a nice diesel if you want to do a build like this. youll get much much better fuel mileage. my 5.7 tundra got 13mpg empty. i couldnt imagine 35s with a big sail on top. but to each their own! good luck hope it all works out
Great adventure! I can’t wrap my head around how to get there having been been in a standard house, job, commute life for 30 plus years. Interesting and seemingly full of adventure!
Bob on Cheaprvliving. His channel tells you lots of options and details for starting out, from living in a 2-door car to all types of rigs but the top budgets.
Очень уютненько внутри все эти элементы тканевые коврики наклейки создают приятную атмосферу Very cozy inside all these elements fabric mats stickers create a pleasant atmosphere
Great rig! Still scratching my head about the 4 cylinder toy truck. I’m a General Contractor so all tools must have MORE POWER! I have a Tundra, newly retired and this is perfect for me and my 7 tiny dogs who love hitting the trails. Thanks for sharing.
12 Years ago I took a chance on a Toyota. Now, with 3 drivers in the fam, I own 3. Mine is an 06 Sequoia. Just.keeps.going.... thx for sharing and nice setup.
i love their truck. i am partial to Toyota and the sun raider, which could use a 350 V8 for sure and not difficult to do after all, they put all that work into it. Very much enjoyed this video. I try to get out as much as i can and explore, nothing better than an adventure.
@Jennelle Eliana // their Sun Raider reminds me of your yet to be remodeled Japanese RV... 🚐🐍 But what they have now is what you might want for your plans traveling in South America...
After he stole their gas tanks and propane, then he came back for the trailer truck, but dumped it because it had no toilet only a shower which wet the cushions under which medical supplies were stored, then the water tank blew and ruined all the electronics so carefully stored nearby.
Awesome story! Awesome message “ fall in love with the lifestyle and adventure “ Picking up my bus in a couple weeks... hope to see you on the road one day ✌🏼☀️🐾🐾
