Optimal engine for this car in this class.

Fantastic engine. At 180 km/h it is still resting. Less than 3000 rpm. The only drawback is that this car is outstandingly expensive.

You guys got to understand the microphone used amplifies the sound, so the cars would sound a bit louder etc but I do agree VW didn't do enough

at least tank gas are 66liter and not like in stupid mercedes c or bmw 3 or a4 only 40liter and you must pay additionaly for bigger gas tank

the driveing indicator and the windscreenwiper are the same as in my wife's 2002 audi a4....waht a shame......and those mufflers....ridiculous

I have a B8 GTE and tried the B9 GTE, wont buy the new one sadly because quailty has got down: Leather is 100% fake now Removed the clock Removed the GTE gearstick Removed the piano black panel on ash box in front of gearselector. Smaller screen on speedometer if you have the virutal cockpit. No E Mode or GTE gauge anymore. USB port is not in ash try anymore, on panel🤢. Interior was squeaky. + the car had two faults, like GTE prefacelift had that faults and they haven’t fixed it :( The car was wobbly. The good things are better tech and more comfort👍🏼

i still dont get it why volkswagen choose in last years to lower the front part of the passat, it is so close to the ground then extremly often the bumper and the engine shield will be broken

with 6 speed manual consumption will be even lower and reliability are much better because with DSG big percentage of car owners have problems&fails and that means repairs and that means spending $ on repairs

Sounds like a Diesel

This turbo engine sounds soo bad. It could be a diesel one. VW can‘t build good engines sounds.
