My parents, I think, kind of suspect that I’m not straight haha but they are not supportive at all of lgbtq+ stuff so I’m a little scared. I’m a panromantic asexual demigirl and if I told them they would say it’s bull. I would love to go to a pride parade someday (though I’d have to bring headphones lol), I’d have to move out first though because my parents would kill me if I asked
Pride is just such a happy experience. On the way there you see other people in rainbow and you just feel so warm and then the excitement really kicks in. You get to the parade spot, and there's a whole street of people in pride clothes and eventually you find a friend and watch the parade come down. Then you get hit in the head with a bag of skittles. I miss pride so much, damn covid
As a gay teen. All i see here is happiness, people cheering up others, smiles, people who can now stand up and proudly walk to show the world who they rlly are. and tbh...idk why people want us dead and hate us...
See ? not just teens but even kids know that it's a happy fun celebration but the older generation couldn't come out of their shell. They make everything look complicated....well, they might never enjoy and never let us enjoy, all we gotta do is ignore

I have 3 NYC pride videos that collectively have close to half a million views and the homophobic comments are frequent, but it's very easy to delete them all before they appear!
Thank you for that, if every channel did the same thing it would finally discourage them.The LGBT community has had enough, we don't need the failing report system from You Tube, just delete it and make all their negative effort useless.
Thank you for posting this. I was in the parade so I didn’t really get to watch it. It was hot as hell yesterday and I wasn’t on a float so I’m still tired and hurting, but it was worth it. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈
This was filmed before the epidemic but we have gotten, to a certain extent, through aids. We have things to teach others. We need to be responsible enough to listen to others as well. We all have stories. I am taking a LGBT+ history class and that helps. May all my fellow earthlings be well. I have my own personal struggles as I can only imagine that you do. Let us move forward.
I have an idea for a float. Two women dressed in white leotard attached with white train of wedding gown and white veils and a crown/tiara on their head to look like a halo. Then maybe attach some angelic wings. Have them sitting on top so it is obvious they are a pair and maybe decorate around like they are on white fluffy clouds/heaven and write somewhere "Cloud 9". I think it would show sex positive, but also how high their love is for one another, plus angels- because love is innocent feeling that everyone is able to feel no matter what sex/gender race religion. :) Wonder if this concept sound good? Opinions?
I came out a year ago and i didnt have the chance to join the parade in NYC bc of the pandemic. Hopefully this year 2021 or 2022 i can probably show the world who i rlly am
back in the days when i used to go clubbing in nyc i found the greatest dance music and fun was at the gay clubs. i'm straight but the gay clubs can party their asses off. much love for lgbt!
I feel the same way 😂 but you could still teach them that. If I were to have a kid, I'd wait till they are old enough to go because you don't want your kid to see half naked people, but yeah 🏳️🌈❤️
I personally don't care about this, at least lgbqt is getting a voice. Even then it won't matter in the end there will always be those who hate it, sadly.

Also, he doesn’t think that i support him because I’m a christian but little does he know😋 I suprised him and took him to the parade😍 it was so emotional! i love my best friend!
Ask him is he playing like the one who will propose to the guy or will say yes to the guy because I think you can address him as a she of course (I'm not trying to be rude 😅)

I feel your pain. I want to visit a Pride event in Florida but I have religious and homophobic parents that won't make that happen and the city of St. Petersburg is largely diverse in the LGBTQ+ Community. I'm not very far from the city just an hour or so away

I watch this, because they always paint a picture in the media that people do really controversial things in Pride. There wasn't anything out of line. Just normal people marching... However I don't really see why they involve children...
