I over filled my oil. I had gray/white smoke. Also bad performance. I took some oil out until it is in between the lines. The smoke stopped but performance is still not great. Should I replace spark plugs?
I would pull one and see how dirty it is. If it is coated then yes I would replace them all. I agree spark plugs are the best place to start. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I hear you when it comes to mechanics and experienced DIYers, for sure. However, for those uninitiated, in spark plug changes and with the head being aluminum, I advocate for great caution. I have seen people damage threads by wiggling the plugs. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@andysgarageadventures8043 I have changed spark plugs for years,have on 2 occasions in my life damaged thread once when 15 years old on snowmobile,once in my 50's. I decided though on my waverunner,with plugs so deep,in a machine running perfect,that am probably selling next year,to skip fogging motor at risk of stripping. Furthermore,the whole idea of fogging may not even be that much benefit imho
