Ok I mean but he's using autotune to get that effect on his voice in this song... Not saying he's a bad singer that "needs autotune" but this song specifically makes use of autotune to get the robot voice effect. In other words, you could do it with the same effect applied.
mad respect to dean for singing so flawlessly even though his earpiece didnt function lol. the tech team is so unprofessional, he showed his earpiece so many times yet i think i still didnt function till the end just like the mic.
not just the earpiece I think the monitors on stage towards him were not working as well, you can see him pointing at them at 0:53..he couldn't hear himself singing yet he killed the performance!! such an incredible artist he is!!

Can someone confirm this is actually DEAN as in Kwon Hyuk as in deantrbl, as in my everything LOL cause this sounds like his voice but not sure. Also there was ZERO promotion for this song and it's definitely a bop. The song is on his Spotify page as a feature but like it's so weird he didn't promote this song what so ever. it's not turned up enough and he's signalling for them to turn it up more. The earpiece lets him hear what his actual voice sounds like, because without it he's just hearing what the speakers are putting out
His voice is perfection, but... his live version don't show it. Don't get wrong, I'm not dating he can't sing. I'm saying I feel like he records like 2 second at a time and makes sure it's literal perfection. Like, every single second every song of his. is the best his voice could do after several, several tales. So. he will never be able to perform as well as he does live, as he does on record. Which explains why he opts got the auto tune here and doesn't sing the entire song but parts of it, and when he does it's more of a remix of the song, you can't compare it to the recorded version. Again, I'm not saying he can't sing, you physically can not say that, the guy has the voice of 3 angels combined. But, his recorded version are just so pitch perfect they can't be replicated live.
@@lottekoole1200 I use it and hear it in the studio every day for certain things. I don’t think you understand how it works lol. New tune is something for natural singers. Auto tune is for key/pitch correction, aka voice manipulation bc you can’t sing. The proof is in the video, I mean shit, it’s not my fault. I just like live performers, not fake singers.
