2020-23 GLE350 Engine Air Filter Replacement 

Thanks for sharing I was able to replace the filter without removing the box with the clip. It simply spun upward without having to remove it. Also the two airway clips will be much easier to remove with your hand.

My wife has a 2018 GLE 350 4matic, whose service contract ran out and the layout of the engine looks very different from your demo GLE 350. And I can not even find anyone doing the replacement of the engine air filter on a 2018 GLE 350.

Terrible design. I want one but will have to go with new rx350h. I don’t like running to the dealer to get regular maintenance items done.

I'd rather buy Japanese or Korean brand car. So easy to change the filters.

MB should learn from Toyota but then there wouldn't be any work for MB dealers overcharging for services? 😀

Mechanic with 11 years professional experience here. Performed millions of dollars in repairs, this is easily the worst air filter I've ever done. Horrible design, absolutely stupid. Best part is, the dirty side of the box was packed with sand/dirt, so all this insanity was for nothing.

I want a performance one I can’t find one no where can someone help
