Every time I see an LX, I miss my old Accord. I had a 2003 lx 4 banger. The car was absolutely bulletproof. Got 33mpg even in 2019 on the highway at 75-80mph. It also had a normal key, which I find reliable... If a bit primitive. The push button start in my EXL v6 sedan, has been giving me smart key errors, and Honda is going to look into it. But I love everything else about it. But that tech glitch almost makes me miss the DX line. Which I feel should be returned for those who want a very simple, no frills, but dead reliable option. No push button, no smart key, no touch screen, no dual zone climate, but everything just works. I'd buy in a heartbeat just for reliability and simplicity
I saw your other vids about the accords. Love the channel. What’s the real difference between the accords and civics these days? The Civic are big now with the same legroom upfront and just a tad smaller in the back in comparison to the accords.
the accords are actually really roomy and a lot nicer compared to the accord like the better infotainment system, led lighting, etc. not saying the civic isn’t a good buy too
They realistically offer almost all of the same features at this point. It is really about spacing and price point. I will say I like that you can customize the Civic touch screen a little more than the Accord. But overall ride quality is a little better in the Accord.
I'm picking up my 2020 LX tomorrow. On the Honda.ca website, it says Apple Carplay, front heated seats, and remote engine start is included under 'interior: standard features included'. However, any video I've watched said differently. Do you know why that is?
My initial concern when turbos started landing in Hondas was related to maintenance and longevity. Honda has made its name on longevity, safety, and low cost of ownership. With that said, over the last few years I think the turbo has held up well but I would like to see more time on this. As of right now though, I think they have held up pretty well!
