and you'll freeze to death in the winter and burn up in the summer. The QD 3200 uses 2 to 3 tenths of a gallon per hour which is quite thrifty. btw I have $6000 worth of LiFePo (680 ah) and 1500 watts of solar and I still prefer using my RV's 10 kw generator for aircon operation
Scott McCloud not is you go with a diesel heating system. Airstream is a luxury line and I don’t expect to see many where I travel ing the backcountry.
@@BillSprague Aquahot is nice but isn't limited to airstream. luxury? you'll bust you're tailbone sitting on the most unconfortable bench seats. Airstream is made by Thor the most craptastic of the RV manufacturers.
Agreed, at this price point it should have the power system from the travato, lithium batteries, auto engine start with 2nd alternator, 3kw inverter, and diesel powered heater.
Look very nice but Not show the bathroom how wide is it ? Can big person fit comfortably that's one of my question my husband is over 300 lbs ? And I love Mercedes Benz.
Thanks for the video. Always deals with MB downtown Toronto. Researched a lot about Airstream recently, preparing for post-pandemic outdoor activities, and then RU-vid brought me here. :D
I never had any problems with the door on my RV. It opens effortlessly and closes just as well as. I suggest buying a Ford, even at 67yo. With Ford built, even children can do it. Built it right.
how could you not show the bathroom? is the 4x4 setup factory standard or tweaked? is there an ceramic hob cooker option? are there solar panels on the roof + what is the maximum wattage? a link to a full specs web page + photos and plans would help...
Forget the Interstate, would kill to get the Hymer Grand Canyon in the States, especially the pop top version that sleeps 4 in the same length MB Sprinter as the Interstate 19.
Unfortunately it looks like Thor’s recently announced attempt to re-launch Hymer USA has stalled. This of course was following the shutdown of Hymer North America in 2019. Their timing was pretty unfortunate as they announced in February 2020 they were to set up in Indiana and began recruiting staff..... and then of course all that came to a grinding halt in March. Best guesstimate when we might see them launch in the US is around 2022-2023.
I would like to know why you never see any video on youtube that actually shows someone lying down on the bed. You can’t get a good idea the size of the bed. Can a six foot tall person be comfortable on it?
