One thing - in a Sprinter automatic brake system sensor (radar) is not fitted in the box on the top of the windscreen, but at the bottom of the front bumper (that wide vertical bar just under the grill). Anyway lovely build!

I believe the main difference between the GL and GT are the extra 2 captains chairs. Was disappointed this video did not demonstrate them at all. Do they swivel? Do they recline? How much do they recline? Do they adjust forward and backward?

They are still behind the curve on electric systems? Heck, you can now get a Ford F150 with a 2KW inverter. They need to upgrade their electrical systems at this price point.

I have a 2016 airstream interstate Lounge and just traded to Grech Strada which is far better in quality build and electrical system. just finished a southeastern tour and believe me I hated the generator just powering my A/C and wasting propane along the way. Now, with strada it has 2 lithium batt and 2kw inverter that power my A/C, Microwave, TV and all outlet like you are at home without any noise from a generator.

Everything costs more when the cost is +175,900 But it's beautiful. Can people finance this machine over 20 years? So, if I'm out on the Road, crossing country from San Jose to NYC I want my water stored in a Stainless Steel container; and same for gray and black water. Another concern is gas/diesel mileage bc its not great so I'd like to know if Airstream plans on a Plug In Hybrid to help improve mileage and tow. Can lithium batteries, solar, a generator and an electric motor version run this vehicle without diesel?

I love Mercedes I even drive one a sedan but sometimes it needs to go into the shop for a problem whatever all cars do at one point or another but with Mercedes sometimes they don’t have the part that I need and they have to send to Germany for it I would hate to think of waiting around and an expensive hotel room for a couple of weeks for a part to be mailed to my locationare you the sprinters pretty well stocked in parts here in the US thank you

We didn’t consider the interstate because the lithium option was too small and you didn’t offer a 12v AC option. We don’t want the hassle and noise of a generator.

The convertible bed accommodates up to two people. There's also an optional bed that spreads across the driver and passenger seats to create one additional sleeping position.

Wish it was on the Transit EcoBoost body instead. The Sprinter has major performance issues and we will not be going back any time soon. More than a few times we nearly got in accidents because of the Sprinter lag. Driving anywhere with traffic the Sprinter is just a terrible platform with no power.

Hmm that flooring I don't think is a good idea to have. First off on yachts people are barefoot. RVs on the other hand you'd have to police everyone not to wear shoes/slippers in and out of it. Having little ones on the trip well good luck. Woven materials are not easy to clean or keep dust off.

For such an upscale RV, it's disappointing to see water inlet exposed, and so many small panel doors on the side. They show be better organized and discrete.

They are all beautiful but come on it bout costs more than my home a beautiful 200 yr old federal garage mini farm on 4 acres w/several big barns and outbuildings even got the original post office from our town and it's been featured in better homes magazine ! These prices you could buy a couple small homes across the country. I would also think they would loose value quicker than a manufactured home... I guess that's why these guys always seem a lil uncomfortable showing or ever revealing the actual cost of these camper vans (probably why the silly CLASS scale) prefab and manufactured housing online. Sad what should have been AFFORDABLE housing is not.

you spend 22 minutes talking about Mercedes features. None are original to the air stream. Also, Ford Transit has them all if not better. Why in the world are you building on a sprinter chassis? The only reason I will never buy this is that Mercedes is the biggest junk in the world, with rust buckets, poor technical support, emission problems, inferior AWD system, lack of parts, and ON STAR scanning restricted to dealers only. NO THANK YOU. built it on a Ford Transit, AWD, or DRW chassis and I might consider 2 of them. NO ONE is falling for the trick that the Mercedes brand means luxury or quality. Not since 1980.
