Peabo is so right when he says that "you don't see my name bandied about." When the awards shows give out these lifetime achievement awards or "walk of fame" awards or whatever they are called, he's not considered, even though he's been in the business nearly 50 years. He's not mentioned in the same breath as say Luther Vandross, even though Peabo is no less vocally talented. Unlike Luther, Peabo wrote a lot of his own music, including all the songs on his first two albums, which feature classics like "Reaching for the Sky," "Feel the Fire," and "I'm So Into You." So why does Peabo get overlooked?
