@@eroche913 It has nothing to do with gouging. Everything in Ireland is more expensive because of the heavy tax and regulation regime that exists in ireland.
@@bighands69 and those heavy tax regimes are actually forbidden by the EU. we can’t legally charge things like VRT on vehicles so we attach the charge to a number plate which by law all cars on the road must have. It’s actually outrageous.
Lad,no one puts there Toblerone in that hidden pouch for said reason nice car , nothing there to tempt 5 series jockey away , and fairly miserable resale
Sat in one. Hated it. Suspension is awful. So uncomfortable! And rear seats are so upright you can't feel comfortable as a passenger. What were they thinking!??
Thinking about buying one,But i’ve heard people say that it’s not a reliable car ,i love the car and the only thing which is holding me back is not being too sure about reliability
I’m currently on my 4th Audi, throughout that time I’ve had one window switch fail (on an A3 ) and one courtesy door handle light bulb fail on an A4 Quattro. That’s it ( touch wood ! ). All my cars have run to high mileage with no other problems. Just keep it well serviced.
I like the car and like the review. Really should come with a rear view camera. However I have one question Anthony. When you were telling us all about the engines available on this car , you laughed , looked down and a rustling of paper could be heard. My question is . When you are driving do you keep your notes between your legs ? I'd find that very distracting. Nice video....cheers.
Cheers, glad you liked it! I think the rustling was my facial fluff off the mic. Notes are usually kept off to the side with just prompts on them. I think the look down was just to take a split second to regather my thoughts! 😂😂😂
Ah sure I know. Years of saying it the wrong way takes time to shake off but I'm practicing!! 😂 We have an A5 video coming soon and I think it's the "correct" way.
No doubt its a quality item, but the styling isn't a patch on the svelte tidyness of the previous generation and the touch screen only cockpits are indeed a nightmare, especially big monolithic twin screens such as Audi are wedded to. Personally I'd buy a pre-owned 3.0 biturbo diesel from the previous gen and be happy as a pig.
Yeah the previous generation 3.0 bi-turbo looks like a very impressive package particularly in estate form. Was trying to convince a friend to buy one the other day.
Unfortunately "amazing build quality" doesn't equate to a reliable car, something which Audi nor any other German manufacturer ever has been top of the class. 56,000 Euro for this and it doesn't even have a reversing camera is simply ridiculous. It's amazing how many people part with so much cash just for a badge!! I won't be swapping my Mazda6 platinum lux 2.2d automatic which is 8,000 Euro cheaper with a far superior spec. It not only has a reversing camera but a 360 degree camera system not to mention many many more extras above this overpriced Audi!
Made in Japan, the best country in the world for automotive manufacturing. You can choose a shit box overpriced unreliable Audi if you want to waste your money. I've been following the automotive industry for over 20 years now and I cannot recommend any other brands other than Japanese if you want RELIABILITY! The facts speak for themselves! Audi produces the most BORING mainstream cars on the market that have no personality. As I said I won't be trading in my far SUPERIOR Mazda 6 for one of these shitboxes
Very few cars that are 10 years old are reliable. Toyota are the exception but not the norm but then you have contend with the fact that Toyota are not a nice car to drive or experience.
