This just shows not very high skill of competitors in virtual gaming. 2 hours earlier Lando took part in Veloce racing, and simracers there were just monsters: 2 seconds faster per lap!

I just found out that it was real lando not a bot racing if you see his live twitch stream

Lando dc'ed half way through the race. Then came back in at about lap 10 or so and pitted for the softs.

Speaking from experience this is just how online racing is on public servers. Total chaos. It may be fun if you are 5 year old child.

If anything it’s Landos fault. Jimmy was half a car in before the turn, Lando tried to squeeze/take the racing line and that caused the incident.

jimmer had his front tyres in between lando’s but its lando’s responsibility not to turn into him just as much as it’s jimmy’s responsibility not to swipe right into lando (but looks like the former is what occured)

Yeah Lando didn't give Jimmer enough space. A bit like Vettel and Hamilton in Canada. He probably was hoping Jimmer backed off. Lando probably would have had that corner if he didnt squeeze that much.

@jameshisself It looled differently on both streama. The red arrows didn't appear on Lando's car until vontact was already made so it looled lile Jimmy rammed him. It was just a bug, no need to act like a degenrate over it

F1 2019 is very different from simulators, in a sense that you still need to adjust despite having years of Formula racing experience. Who knows, maybe half of these contacts and crashes is because some of them didnt have a sense of the car and proximity

@@DrSabot-A Codemasters have a dreadful netcode, the start of the race was a lagfest

During a Veloce race before there were tyre skidmarks _in the air_... Not to mention (only issues specific to these broadcasts, there are far more): a) spectated cars don't have suspension, because they act like "non player cars" and hence low graphics mode. b) complete lack of *any* info at all for spectators. c) the tower doesn't even work half the time. d) the "TV" camera angles are atrocious: they're so low FOV that everything looks flat and/or so zoomed in that you can't actually see anything at all.
