yeah :( , but in my opinion having the celebrities there isn't bad overall, now that the whole thing calmed down, I would disable ghosting when lapping somebody, then everybody is part of the race...better celebs can somewhat keep on pace (like Curtois) and Ian when it doesn't go his way, he can at least influence the lead when the guys are trying to lap him...I mean that's the only way to slow down le clerc anyway

Exactly. The cameras for this race was REALLY bad, instead of showing Leclerc and Albons battle for the lead they showed Courtoise battle for 15 or something. I expected better.

My boys and I were joking about this during the stream. F1 has some sort of hate for smooth operation clearly.

They should be able to upload the footage somewhere and then we can download and control the cameras ourselves; watch whatveer driver we want, change angles etc etc

@@esmaeilhosseini4890 I assume it's harder in normal races for rights issues, but at the end of these games you can, if you've been in it, rewatch the whole race from any angle and any car, rewind, fast forward everything. Codemasters should be able to strip that video out to save locally, and then just upload it somewhere. I expect it'll need a code change but it should be possible.

I think it's really tough to direct a race on F1 2019, unless Codies come up with a client version that might help them. This is a difficult time for everyone, and they aren't working on this with a big team. I can understand why they'd miss some action, be glad that they at least have this platform to show racing.

​@@GedUK its technically impossible: you can have only 2 spectators in the lobby on f1 2019 and that means you can have only 2 separate view angles for the stream and also you cant have full ingame multiplayer session replays on f1 2019

Well things will definitely get interesting/historical as we will have likely atleast 2 races hold on each track for empty stands/no audience. Silverstone even said they could run slitghy altered track for the other GP, so they would not be 100% identical.

It's probably because they are being paid millions of dollars. Maybe not so much this season, but you know, they still have to show dedication to keep their seats. This might seem like a kids game, but it's the thing that's keeping the F1 flame burning while all of this shit is going down for an indefinite amount of time. At this rate, there will be no 2020 season at all. But Jimmy is still right. It's a chance to loosen this whole thing up a bit.
