Kylie Marsh I think even with Prime it’s taking forever (like a month) to receive books since they’re prioritizing food and things. :( Which is good and awesome to fulfill people’s immediate needs, but B&N and Books A Million should have you covered!

"We all have free time now" ...sure we do, with COVID-19 hanging in the corner. I am feeling so lonely nowadays. I am feeling really dissatisfied with myself. I am like bound with negative energy. This is so unlike me considering that I am an introvert. But there is difference between being alone and being lonely. Can't help it. I have no one to talk to when I really do need someone. But thank you for uploading Hailey. It's like a blessing. I could relax after a long, stressful and lonely day

I understand the feeling. my school is taking two weeks off and we're doing remote learning. It's not the same and I miss being able to see my friends everyday and getting out of the house. I'm glad Hailey posted this because it's probably the most positive video I've watched all week.

I really love the way you have your library arranged it's so beautifully presented. I am very visual also; now I don't feel so odd I also buy books because of the way they look from the cover. Sometimes I'll read the description and other times I'll just blindly buy it. I'm into graphic novels and a whole lot of audiobooks. Between my local library and Audible I have listened to so many books. Some times I'll crack through two books in one day. Thank you for sharing your collection it's quite inspiring, now I know where to come if I get stuck on what to read next.

Ooh! I know of an Alice in wonderland special edition coming out in June. It’s called the wonderland collection (seasons edition-summer) it will only print 10000 books. I got three from the winter seasons editions and they are just stunning editions!

Question: How do you prevent the pages in the books from going yellow after sitting on the shelf?

Anna P Ensure the books avoid direct sunlight, have good circulation, ensure it’s not too humid around the books. You could also put some sort of protective lining paper if your books are on a wooden shelf. These are some tips I’ve picked up, hope that helps you :)

Also, love that people in the comments make Alice book recommendations! Here’s mine. Chris Riddell has illustrated an addition and it should be coming out in June I think, though with everything going on, not sure. I’m super excited to get my hands on it!

I highly recommend the Book Catalogue app for anyone who likes organizing their books, especially if you have mostly nice new books like this! You can add books into it using a bar code scanner (so old books usually don't scan properly--see most of my vintage sci-fi paperbacks--but new do) or by searching or adding manually. It can sort by author, series, read vs unread...so useful to make sure you don't buy something you already have!

I think you have the perfect amount of books. More than a thousand would be really hard for me to keep track of. And on organizing by color, I personally wouldn't do that cause I personally don't like series to be seperate, but I also don't like organizing alphabetically by author because it's hard for me to remember, so I just organize by how much I like the book, keeping series together.

I recently organized my books by rainbow [I have 4 big shelves | I also have one for my dvds] 2 of the bookshelves are for favorites and [Rick Riordan and the star wars books have their dedicated shelves] and my smaller shelves are organized by rainbow except my james patterson shelf and my vampire shelf.

It seems that EVERY booktuber I’ve come across has the Billy shelves.. and I can see why. They’re spacious and honestly would probably be my first choice when buying shelves. Your shelves are beautiful. This made me look at my shelves in shame lol. I need to clean them up and organize them. I like to organize by genre, author and series. I think the rainbow shelves are beautiful and I like looking at them, but it would honestly drive me crazy since I like to keep any books that are a series together and if I have books by the same author I like to keep them together too. I also like to complete a series in the same type of adaptation, start in hardcover finish the series in hardcover. Might be a little ocd with my books, lol.
