Question : you should put starter switch key in pocket while you preform pre trip inspection because ? someone can start and move the truck NOT someone can steal the truck !

Where is the “front”? I would say on the door side of the cargo or the nose side of the cargo.

Just passed my cdl permit yesterday, I highly recommend watching all the videos if you wanna pass easily general knowledge part 1-4 combination, and brakes, I deadass wouldn’t of passed if it wasn’t because of these video

Never check or top of coolant while vehicle is turned on or has been operated. even if it has not overheated, the system could be pressurized and hot causing injuries.

Blocking the cargo to keep it from shifting, must be done: at the front, back and/or sides of a piece of the cargo. Bracing is done with front piece of cargo.

Good video but there was one question there that I think should be wrong when it is marked right setting your parking brake at highway speeds bad idea you can check life if you're not an experienced driver but yet not recommended only on emergencies.

2:45, The NYS CDL manual on page 5-12: At 55 mph for an average driver under good traction and brake conditions, the total stopping distance is over 450 feet. If the vehicle has no air brakes, the average stopping distance is over 420 feet.

Section 2.1.5 Step 7 (page 2-7 of Missouri Commercial Driver License Manual) Brake System; Test Parking Brake(s); fasten safety belt, set parking brake (power unit only) release trailer parking brake (if applicable), place vehicle into a low gear, gently pull forward against parking brake to make sure the parking brake holds. Repeat the same steps for the trailer with trailer parking brake set and power unit parking brakes released (if applicable). If it doesn't hole vehicle, it is faulty, get it fixed.

yo For CDL permit do you need 2 know GENERAL knowledge only or do you need to know airbrakes and HAZMATs also?

To get the CDL Class A you need to pass 3 tests (General Knowledge, Air Brakes & Combination Vehicles) Then if you want to add endorsements to your license you can take HAZMAT, Tanker or Doubles & Triples depending on what you want.

one question on the test isn't on any of the videos. The question is when you return back onto the road should you. Turn gradually back onto the road or turn sharply back onto the road. answer is turn sharply back onto the road.

It's a Pre trip inspection, how is that remotely the correct answer? No. You don't want anyone to move the truck while you are doing the pre trip Inspection. DONT WATCH THIS TOO MAY INCORRECT ANSWERS. Question "How can you test the parking brake? A: "Set the parking brake at highway speeds". I have a real problem with this answer! And Question "You should put starter switch key in pocket while you preform pre trip inspection because?
