I got 39 right the first try so was a little bummed thinjkjn i was going in there to ace the test. A lot of the gen knowledge questions that are commonly found on various cdl study guides online (including cristcdl) were worded differently and other questions were ones i hadnt studied over repetitively however they are all still found in section 2.
Thank you. I'm taking Permit test tomorrow here in Phoenix to become a TransDev bus driver. I've studied the CDL manual and aced each question you posted here so you've given me the confidence I lacked. Now just one more step...going to church in a few minutes. Lol
Regarding question @ 19:33 The Colorado CDL manual states that total braking for a vehicle driving 55mph is a min of 419'...not the "length of a football field". (perception dist + reaction dist + braking dist = total stopping distance). Is this different from state to state? BTW, thank you so much for the videos! There are questions you cover here that I'm not seeing on other prep tests.
This guy Jonathan and Driving Academy we're right. Skip button is your favorite friend Lifeline skip button didn't believe it until I was sitting there for my third time and got to 50 then came back again to 3 knock the rest of it out!! Thank you for your Insight always going to believe 2/22/20. Let's all get this money stop playing around it's about that paper chase. Thank you again Driving Academy and the great Jonathan I appreciate it hope you have a great rest of your guys in girls weekend.
Question number 12, it's not just like a car heads on a steering wheel on a car. It's 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. His answer was 9 o'clock in 3 o'clock, so it's not just like a car.
I’m a bit confused, for question 16 he said over 40 add 1 second, but in another video I watched just before this he said over 50 add a second. Anyone know which it really is? Or am I missing something?
This one is correct according the CDL manual I received from the SoS. 1 second per 10 feet of vehicle length + Add 1 second for a vehicle going over 40 mph = total following distance.
I def appreciate the videos because they're very informative, but IMO, when answers are initially shown they probably shouldn't already be underlined so it gives the viewer a chance to answer themselves before the correct answer is revealed. Regardless, I only appreciate the vids as I am scheduled to take the General knowledge, air brakes, combinations, and tanks tests this coming week in January of 2024 in CT. Do companies with free training programs accept applicants with past criminal convictions that are just over 7 years old? I am looking for a company who will in my case 👀
Thank you for your feedback! I understand your point about the underlined answers and will keep it in mind for future videos. Good luck with your upcoming tests and I hope you find a company that meets your needs!
Any chance you can stop marking the answers on the paper. I would rather not be able to see the answers before I get a chance to answer the questions. Thank you.
