I love the duckbill spoiler so much. It’s not over the top & doesn’t look stupid like most of these oversized spoilers. I love the stock spoiler on your car. I’m about to buy the duckbill for my 2020 Honda Civic sedan.. my civic is the same white & black theme .. I have all smoked lights.. ( I have smoked headlights too which look amazing but I don’t recommend to anyone because you can’t see shit at night) I had custom halo & demon eye headlights made with black bowls that I’m about to install & it’s going to look amazing!!! redid all the chrome trim black & a delete kit for the emblems & took the trunk side “civic” logo off. I think a black spoiler just doesn’t look right imo… It makes it stand out too much & looks like it doesn’t belong on the back & with having smoked taillights it like blends into the taillights & just doesn’t look right to me.. & I’m not doggin on your car that’s just my opinion. You should have it painted white & it will go more with the car.. that’s what I’m gonna do when I buy mine. My civic has that little tiny stock spoiler thing at the back .. if you even wanna call it a spoiler & I just hate it but since the screw holes are so close to the tip of the trunk .. this duckbill spoiler will cover the holes no problem .. I’m just worried in the long run the exposed holes will cause rust even covered by a spoiler.
I just bought a 2018 civic ex, not an si but looks almost exactly the same as yours so I'm gonna do a lot of the mods you're doing!! Appreciate your stuff man!
@@PassTheLimits Dude, NOBODY gives a shit if it's a ricer. Bought the exact same car. Lots of people told me that it looks too conservative and I should mod it up. I asked if it would look like a "ricer". They all said, "WTF is a ricer?" It's a dead term, nobody says it anymore. BTW, I now get TONS of compliments with my modded civic and not one "ricer" is ever spoken. The only time I see it used is by butthurt RU-vid commenters.
The duckbill is sick, BUT there's no way I'm leaving holes in the trunk covered by vinyl. That just me. But if they ever have a full bolt on that looks as good, I'm in lol.
Just install with double sided duck tape?? 😂 I’ll pass. Either it will fly off on the freeway or it’ll be gone when you take it to the mall parking lot lol
I have Spec-D taillights on my 10th gen civic and I tried putting on a duckbill spoiler and it would not fit because the trunk light part sticks up a bit more than the OEM taillights, do you know where i can find a spoiler that fits with the spec-d tail lights?
A word of advice use clear bathroom caulking if you don’t want water getting into your trunk. I filled ea hole with it and bought the foam strip from my local automotive store to keep moisture and dirt out the bathroom/sink caulking works like a champ hard to remove later on but manageable

Glad I saw this before I purchased. I was wondering if it covered all the holes but I guess not. Luckily car is also getting vinyl wrap so that's 2 W's for us haha 😄
Would you recommend 3m taping the spoiler on vinyl wrap? How well will the spoiler be mounted on the vinyl? I was going to mount my duck bill and then jux vinyl wrap the expose holes...
i just got the one i ordered a month and a half ago thought it was more simpler to instal but Ali express had em cheap 115$all in.. ill get a pro to install it I'd just mess it up
