There is actually no need whatsoever to pull everything apart. This mod can be done without taking off anything except maybe the front fender to give yourself a little more room to work.
I had like 60hours on the bike with the backfire screen in there before I took it out. When I took it out I 100% felt a difference in throttle response. I recommend taking it out.
Did you have an issue with your throttle tube when you put a full size throttle tube on? When I install a full size throttle tube it gets stuck in open throttle it won't return back to closed. And when I put the original one back on it works perfect.
So for sure if I change out that throttle tube I will need to get a retune on the ECU but what about if I just take out the screen do I still need a re tune?
