One very important word is missing from the title of this video, "Widebody". They completely redid the suspension for this car without the supercharger. Shaved a couple hundred pounds. Bigger sway bar, but hollow. Different spring rates. This is a hellcat or demon without the supercharger. IMO this is the best muscle car out there today that you can buy off the lot for a little over $45K. Twelve inches of rubber on each corner.
Just a friendly heads up. The SRT 392 is an SRT-specific Challenger model that Dodge discontinued in 2018. The Scat Pack is called the R/T Scat Pack and sometimes the RT Scat Pack 392. This is not an SRT 392.
Yeah, which is a bummer bc the car has the same parts as an SRT 392, it’s just dodge raised the bar for what’s considered an “SRT.” -And then you have a Jeep SRT 392 or Durango SRT 392 and they have the same 6.4L V8 in a massive car with SRT badging. It’s just dodge playing games.
@@joedirte8952 back when Dodge was selling both the Scat Pack and the SRT-392, the SRT 392 had Way more features than the Scat Pack. It's only since Dodge continued SRT 392 that the Scat Pack now has carried over some of those features to make up the gap. Back around 2015 through 2017 when people used to say about the Scat Pack ( "it's basically an SRT 392"), that used to annoy the hell out of me because it wasn't. But now, they are very close to what the SRT 392s used to be.
@@CeeStyleDj they’ve always been neck and neck the only difference was the adjustable suspension and an SRT steering wheel. Every other thing that came on an SRT392 you could get on a scat pack as a part of the dynamics package after 2017. It’s the same exact car. If a SRT392 is SRT so is a 2018 plus scat idh what anyone says 😂
@@micahmatthew4645 FCA at the time had or has data pages on all of the differences between the two models. I'm sorry - I get a little annoyed when people state that " it's basically the same thing". Yes, eventually the Scat Pack did become what the SRT 392 mostly was. But, I've moved on from this topic a long time ago. You feel what you feel, and I'll feel what I feel. 🍻
