Mr. Hardy, thank you for the video on the King Ranch Ford. I am from Kingsville, TX, home of the King Ranch. I think when looking at the "snakey emblem" that you understand what it is. That is the Running W, the brand of the King Ranch and not just some emblem that is put in the vehicle for good looks. That is what makes the truck stand out versus the Dodge Longhorn edition and the Chevrolet High Country trim level. Ford actually dealt directly with the King Ranch when designing the interior and may have eve helped source the leather used in the vehicle. Please educate yourself with the King Ranch before putting out your next video for the 2021 model.
Man, shut the fuck up. The guy reviews like 50 vehicles a week and won’t know every detail of everything. Why don’t you “please educate yourself” in not being a twat.
See, guys that talk all that trash about that turbo V6 clearly don't have the money to buy a truck at that level, or are clueless as to why you may even buy one in the first place; I have both a 2016 Lariat, with the coyote 8, as well as a 2020 King Ranch with the 6. My Lariat, maxed-out with gearing and tow package, is rated to pull about 11,000 pounds, and I would NEVER actually pull that much with it, as even @ 8,000 pounds, which is what my dove-tail and two Kubota RTV 1100's weigh, it hates life in the mountains twice a year when we hit Hatfield & McCoy trails. And that's with a Shelby tune on it. (not the charger) We just took this King Ranch 3 weeks ago, which is rated @ 13,500 pounds and man what a difference. Of course coming out of the mountains it was getting shoved around just the same, but going in, that twin turbo was night and day better. Didn't matter what the grade, it never dropped below 5th gear of the ten-speed transmission. There were times that lariat grabbed 2nd, and was rocking 6 thousand RPMs. If you buy a 60 thousand dollar truck (my Lariat) based on the exhaust note, you're a damned fool! My King Ranch, maxed-out loaded package, is actually 74, 000.00, and no...NONE of them are worth even half of that but shit costs what it costs, if the features you are after are in that range. That SOB could sound like a craftsman weed-eater, so long as it out-performs it's counterparts...I buy function, not cool sounds. And that turbo 6 is a monster, through and through. There is a reason it's now in the Raptor.
This is terrible. Do some research before you try to showcase certain trim options. 'The w kinda logo'... bro that's the king ranch logo, so disrespectful.
I personally think if you spend 70k for a truck that isn't a diesel you might as well throw your money away. Those trucks depreciate so fast its ridiculous.
I mean bro, an old man I know who owns 40 000 acres and a thousand head of cattle, happens to own a king of the ranch too. So sure, he wishes he was a ”Cowboy”
Not impressed with fords interior, everything feels and looks super cheap to me. Back seats were especially terrible. Tundra 1794 edition looked and felt wayyyyy better
Cowboy trucks don’t have all the gizmos and bling. They crank the windows up by hand and clean the interior with a air compressor lol. Most importantly a cowboys truck doesn’t have a turbo v6 lol 😂. Nothing worse than a nice western themed truck that sounds like a fart can
Ford only makes work trucks, if you want a luxury truck dodge blows ford out of the water. A 2013 longhorn has more options... And a v8... even if the v6 is faster. And wtf ford, dual exhaust not an option on the v8?
Off-Road package? You might be using those front tow rings pretty quick after that low front end gets stuck in the mud. The spoiler certainly won't last long if you take it anywhere off-road. Perhaps its for use as a snow plough.
Love everything except the damn small ass rear window and push to start. we need a full slider and a damn regular key option, idk why fords going this way.
@@BenHardyCars I've live in Montana my whole life. I have a 1993 2wd Ford pickup with a 300 six cylinder. It will pull a pickup on my twenty footer bumper pull. I paid four thousand for it at two years old. I put six grader blades in the bed in the winter, never been stuck. That $50,000 house? It's been a rental for about ten years now. It's the second one I paid off. My third one will be paid off early As I took early retirement last year at the age of 56, because my renters will pay my last five years off. You know how I did that? By not buying a pickup like that. But you go ahead. Your future? Well, Exxon and Ford love you anyway. How's that for an old man.? 🤔😘
@@romanmartinez3701 I wear that Boomer badge with honor. It means we make a good living, own stuff, and retire from our union jobs at 55. I'll be 57 in a couple of months there mouthy. Don't speak unless your spoken to.
Yeah V6 the best dont care what yall say that truck is the best and fast i have a 2017 Ford Lariat twin turbo charge V6 black with caramel on bottom that truck i race all truck and beat them they won't even catch up when i press the sport mode button bye Felicia....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥺✌✌
idk my favorite is the 1794 the wood trim on there is immaculate while the one on the king ranch feels and looks cheap also i hate the way the new king ranch seats look im more of a fan of the dark brown they used to use (btw coming from a guy who has the kr)
(Flashing your) "brights"?! Seriously, what kind of terminology is this? How about High Beams, 'Switching High Beam on/off'.... I noticed you say it in all your videos.
Really a dodge truck dont compare a dodge with a Ford f150 the dodge truck it the cheapest truck in this world and the most ugliest truck the Laramie what's so good about that cheap truck.
The Laramie is years ahead of the king ranch. The interior on the ranch looks like they punched holes in hard plastic and put a controls in them, the seats are nice.
