19:49 Indeed, there is plenty of room in a van for another battery ... Moreover, on the schematics, we can see that the Lithium battery of the Transit hybrid is placed on the left side of the chassis. It seems that the symmetrical part on the right is vacant. Is it really vacant? If so, could we install a second battery identical to the first one? To increase the autonomy in electric mode, would it be enough to add a battery? Or would it require some software intervention? If this operation is possible without reprogramming the software, could we add any battery? I'm thinking of adding the battery of another model that would have more amperes (why not the biggest battery on the market that would be the one of a Tesla). What do you think about it?

Few years ago when I saw first info about testing PHEV in London, I thought it as a good idea to have a car for family and long trips. But... Now knowing that some cities won't allow ICE cars after 2030 or 2035, this is insane to buy it for 50k€... I would consider this for 35, max 40k... Will wait for full EV and continue to use existing euro4 diesel with 100-1400 range :)

It feels like Ford are really behind in their electric vehicle development and production. That this power train costs an extra 20K and doesn’t use much in the way of bespoke elements - there’s not even an electric power readout in the instrument binnacle... it kind of smells like a lack of effort. Other things like bi xenon headlights when use of full LEDs would be more electrically efficient. Things like that are considerations for early adopters who are paying a “get it first tax” which at an absolutely insane price.

19:49 I wish to delay starting the combustion engine. Can I add batteries to extend the 100% electric mode range or would that require programming changes?

I'm 6ft6 without shoes on, how does the new L2 tourneo compare for driving experience? If you had similar sized people or at least large males, does anyone know how it performs as a 9 seater over longer journeys?
