Ok, i have the J-45 standard and i was very impressed of the sound of the LG-2 standard you played on another video. Thinking that it could be a good idea to get one, it appears to be quite different compared to the J-45, but sounds just as good but in another way. at 0.30 you play a very beautiful song, wonder if you can tell the name of it so I can learn?

@@mandolinlasse Lars, The LG-2 I did the video of, was a 50's Original model, not standard. It is quite different than a J-45, more punchy, less bass, but yes a good compliment to J-45 and so comfortable and fun to play. The 50's Original series have full round necks. The song I played is by Tom Paxton "I Can't Help But Wonder Where I'm Bound" . You can watch the video (just below the LG-2 video) of my singing version to hear the lyrics.

Hi Blkojo, the neck is very different from the slim taper on the standard. It's round and full, kinda chunky.
