Silly move buddy. Should have stuck with the 12 ram. This gmc is trash. I have the elevation..gm has dropped the ball in every way due to budget cuts and fuel economy. The body is supposed aluminum it feels for like plastic. The tailgate us hollow and if you even tap it into anything it will explode. The transmission is better but still very jerky. The paint? Lmao The worst paint I've seen since the 90s. I bought mine slightly used a d the idiot must have liked taking the truck thru the car wash, my paint is ruined..swirls and holograms like it's a 5 yr old truck. The thing creaks and squeals when breaking .seats are cheap will definitely pancake soon. Push start feels unreliable..the list goes on and on, never again. Trucks of 5 yrs ago are better..if you want real dependable only way to go is tundra or maybe ram 2500 or f350, forget everything else if u want quality. Tacoma if you just want a small truck that's it folks trucks are dead

@@52foreman52 it's not a lemon lol.i have the same Miles as you. The truck runs , what I'm telling you is that gmc is crap quality. If you were to take this dream truck and do anytype of minor construction work with it, it would look like a scraper's truck by year one. And if this truck was to get into even the slightest hit accident the truck would be totaled beyond repair. I've never seen such a cheaply constructed truck. And they want ridiculous money for a fiberglass truck, you can have it bud. Last GM product for me

I love my elevation.

I had mine for 30 days and was rear-ended. She was doing 45/50 mph. I had to get a new bumper. Her Focus was totaled. Rental car company put me in a Ram and I knew immediately I made the best decision buying GMC.

Your 2001 doesn't have AUTO 4x4 these new ones do, its just changes that happen in any industry. Most Truck customers don't use 4x4 LOW so why have it? Why not have something better like GM's ALL TERRAIN Mode instead of 4x4 LOW as most customers would benefit from ALL TERRAIN Mode.

The Hood, Doors and Tailgate are aluminum. The body is metal and the frame is made of advanced mixed materials to reduce weight but is actually stronger than regular steel.

Ahh man; I love my Bose in my 2016 all-terrain slt; too bad the msrp on that truck (the AT4) has went up 10 grand (hence why I am contemplating elevation)

Just looked at a 2020 with 5.3 and it had Boise and sounded fantastic

Chad Freeman I just looked up the papers my sales guy gave me the one I am close to buying it says c shaped led rear lamps and led stop lamp I like the look on the slt rear lamps if these are not it it will blow the deal ,, the Boise stereo kicks ass I was in shock it really sounded great

Neither do I, lol, but I've driven both and they are both great driving trucks. I personally prefer the GM 6.2L EcoTec3 or if your a Ford guy Ford's 5.0L Coyote is sweet.

Well sir we really appreciate the clarification our mistake! Fords 2.7L EcoBoost (325-hp; 400 lb-ft of torque) is a small V6, no more mistakes on this one! GM 2.7L L3B I-4 Turbo Engine has 310 horsepower and 348 pound-feet of torque which isn't far off but is actually more comparable to the Fords base 3.3L Ti-VCT V6, which generates 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque.

Uttam first off appreciate the comment. I have to say there are features that make sense to many and others that don't. GM's G80 Auto Locking Differential is something that makes sense to MOST yet other Manufactures still use an Electronic Locking Differential that requires your input, the G80 is far superior. On the other hand 4LOW is something that MOST Canadians never use. I myself have had to use 4LOW once in the past 20yrs and I've done hundreds of hunting trips traveling down old logging roads and pushed through 3 feet of fresh snow to get to the cabin. I guarantee you the vast majority of people will benefit from the All Terrain mode over 4LOW. Thanks for sharing your opinion, cheers!
