You can get a manual from Europe custom one for Toyota Supra. It will cost you over $6,000 to convert automatic into manual. It already on sale online.

What's all this complaining about manual transmission? They state here that you can upshift/downshift with the shift lever or the shifting paddles in manual mode. So it clearly has manual transmission. What's the problem with that? That's how race cars operate today...

@@DenisLabrecque Because it's more engaging. You can clutch kick, heel and toe, skip gears, and have more overall control of the cars dynamics. Noone is using an automatic transmission in any serious racing -- they use a sequential. There's a demand for a manual and that's why toyota has it equipped in all their "enthusiast" cars

I wish the 8HP would let you pull both shift paddles in to go into neutral like the C8 Corvette transmission does.

This is by far the best ZF Automatic gear I have ever used. I love it I really do and yea yea all of my other cars are manual but this one is special!

I forgot to mention that all my cars have been manual and Always Hated Automatics lol, however like you said "this one is special!"Its Totally different than a regular Automatic and totally enjoy the ride!Have a safe day bro ✌

Here is an issue I am having with my 2021 Supra GR 3.0 premium I bought 3 months ago with 21000 miles, it’s winter so I have not driven it much yet. The problem that’s occurring is when I back out of my driveway when I put it in D it doesnt engage, like it’s in neutral…first time it happened I thought operator error maybe I didn’t push the unlock button, but it’s happened 4 times now. After it does it that one time when backing out of driveway and finally goes into Drive it doesn’t happen again while I’m out….. anyone else had this issue? Or know what could be causing it? I’m taking it in for service maintenance next month even though it will be too early just to see if there’s any problems with the car since the factory warranty runs out soon

Ehh. Miss my 98 so bad even the new one doesn’t compare to the MKIV after test driving the new one. Not the same at all. What a shame. It’s quick, but doesn’t have that intense feel and sound. You’d understand if you owned one.

Well there 2 different cars and 2 different chassis and there's also the 2 decade gap in tech and tuning in both so it's obvious they aren't comparable.

Pull back to upshift and forward to down shift 🤦🏽‍♂️, jeez lord that is ass backwards ... At least they got the paddle shifters right ... was expecting left to upshift and right to downshift as they messed up the shifter.

Nope. Most racecars with sequentials pull back to upshift. I think toyota (or well, bmw as it’s their gearbox) tried to imitate a sequential by making like that. True sequentials are like this because it’s easier to pull it back while accelerating to upshift and pushing it to downshift while braking. It’s a clever touch in my opinion.

@@faudanke4459 Mazda CX5 is NOT a racecar but has the BACK as upshift and FORWARD as down shift 🤔 So what momentum does 185 hp car have to hold you back from pushing FORWARD to up shift ??? Explain that einstein
