This is a 2020 Hunter Southern Breeze 42” ceiling fan. We installed it in one of my sisters’ room to help the AC as the large windows tend to warm up the room during the day. I personally think it’s a good fan considering its price point. Simple, looks good, performs good and built well. The white finish with the bleached oak blades compliment the furniture in the room perfectly, and it shares some visual details with my Bayport as well. Thanks for watching!

I agree! I never really had much interest in ceiling fans in white finishes until I got the Bayport. In many ways they still look good with the right combination of blades and design.

That’s an awesome fan for being a budget fan. Also my uncle has a fan justice like that but with white blades but my uncle doesn’t take care of things so it’s probably in bad shape like the micromarks bearings that i got from him.

It is! That's cool, white seems to be one of the most common finish options on ceiling fans.

Very nice ceiling fan! It goes very well with the Hunter Bayport. I noticed there is an area with high ceilings in the bedroom. Is there a light fixture there or was the fan the only light in the entire room?

Thanks! There’s one fixture mount in the room, so none in the vaulted area. I think that was just done to accommodate the tall windows.

Can you flush mount hunter fans now days because their current mounting system doesn’t look like they can be flush to the ceiling

Maybe some models, but not this one. I think most new Hunter fans are downrod mount only. My 2005 Bayport has the flush mount option since it uses the older mounting system but it looks like Hunter has slowly phased out that design.

TheSuperFanMan yeah you’re bayports mounting symptom has the ability of being flush mounted and I believe the mounting system before the one of today could be flush mounted as well

For a 42" Fan that uses a 172mm motor, this is what I call a fan with a good properly sized motor.

For sure! It seems appropriately sized for this fan with such wide blades. I was surprised by how wide they are, even my 2005 Bayport has skinner blades!
