I took delivery of 2021 a few weeks ago and got more out of this video then delivery specialist. My dad was with Magna for 25years when they were only 2 factories....cool to know that they designed the drive system....I suspect it'd out do the Subaru system if it had enough ground clearance and articulation. Would be cool if there was a trail version with the appropriate modifications.
I actually think this is the better system. Subarus are always in awd, whereas the system used by Hyundai can go fwd when ever awd isn't needed. This saves fuel. But after watching slip tests on Hyundai and Subarus, (tfl did a slip test on the cross trek) the system used by Subaru doesn't seem any better for capability.
Thanks for the review of the hyundai kona luxury i had a 2020 hyundai kona luxury in pulse red i bought it new in August 2020 when it's brand new i was wondering since the hyundai kona ultimate does the navigation system where driver can use a map and listen to music or any at the same time i was wondering do you know when the software update will be available for the hyundai kona luxury for Android auto for maps and music like multi task will that be possible
Thx for the comment You can already use the maps while listening to music. But I assume you mean, having them on the screen together. There are new updates for the built in system. You can get the updates from the Hyundai software upgrade site. But I'm sorry, I'm not sure if it adds that functionality.
Hi, thanks for the comment! Only the top trim level comes with remote start (via bluelink) As for the block heater and mud guards, those are actually only things that the dealerships sometimes install. For instance, dealerships in northern Canada always pre-install block heaters during their inspections. But manufacturers don't pre-install block heaters or mud guards anymore, so it's dealer specific. I hope that helps!
I was wondering do you know how many kilometers for gas for 2020 hyundai kona luxury and i was wondering do you know when are you going to review the 2024 hyundai kona will it arrive in summer in Canada if so do you know which month and will the 2024 hyundai kona will have a hybrid version and what's the difference between hybrid, plug in hybrid and electric and will you compare to 2024 hyundai kona to 2018 to 2023 hyundai kona
@@edsgarage001 do you know when the 2024 hyundai kona will arrive will it have a hybrid in Canada and what's the difference between hybrid plug in hybrid and electric
No I'm sorry I don't know when they're coming. There's many differences of course. But as we don't currently have any real info on the 24 models, I can't really tell you anything different then the info available online.
@@edsgarage001 no like the engine because when I saw you do a review between hyundai tucson and a toyota rav4 you said toyota rav4 is going to be 500,00km or more for the engine I was talking about the engine of the hyundai kona
Oh... Your first comment said 500km.. so I was confused. Depending on how well a vehicle is maintained, the potential is there for it to last that long. Though it's kind of hard to say with any amount of certainty. The Kona engines have been pretty reliable but the Kona has only been around for 5 years.
