Starter, torque limiting clutch, and battery have been replaced. Normal cranking amps should not exceed 160 amps. Normal voltage no less than 9.5 volts

I don't know the over load on that but a screen shot shows it pulling 305.8 after it shows OL. The specs call for a battery with 310 CCA, I am thinking it just needs "mo power" lol. I feel you though, dealing with this right now and just had the TLG replaced and a dealer battery because mine was chewed up.

According to the Indian service manual, the starter should draw less than 160 amps. Anything more is damaging the electrical system. The meter was set to the 400 amp scale. "OL" means over limit, so it was 400+ amps draw. This is mine back with zero miles or rides. Just received it back from the dealer, starter, torque limiter clutch and starter reduction gear.

Battery should not drop below 9.5 volts when starting urs hit 7 would say battery no good mine never drops below 10 volts 22 challenger here

You are right about the voltage. The rest of the story with this turd is the compression reliefs are stuck causing cylinder pressures of 148 psi instead of a max of 115. The added strain of it causes an elevated amperage draw and the accompanying voltage drop. The batter has been replaced now twice in six months. Polaris is a bag of dicks. Good luck. Oh, and and when your torque limiting clutch fails? Well, that will be a result of the same compression releases. I hope you have better luck. Traded mine off at a loss. Did I say Polaris and Indian suck? Back to Harley.

@@davidknows3320 ya mine is back at the dealer right now for the same chit motor locks up on start up mostly cold told me the torque limiter gear was bad all covered under warranty but ya 6 months of owning the bike and already problems like this is bull shit and not promising
