I like the Renegade because it's easy to park in a big city. It also has, essentially, the same engine as my Dodge Dart, but with a nine speed as opposed to six speed automatic transmission. The 2.4L MultiAir engine was standard on the Cherokee a few years ago; but, now it's on the Compass and Renegade. Between the Compass and the Renegade, I'd go for the Renegade because it's not made in Mexico. In general, I like buying US Made to support the homefront. The Renegade is actually made in Italy and gets exported to the States. The only thing that has to grow on me is the square taillights. I'm glad they muted the "X" in the taillights as they were made a few years ago. It was just too tacky with the previous taillight design. The touch screen display can be a little higher though. It sits kinda low under the center vents. Lastly, I do like all the Easter eggs Jeep puts in the vehicle. Nice review! 👍

It’s super cute! Looks like a very upgraded Kia Soul. I have a 2019 Cherokee with that same engine and it sounds exactly the same! I’ve been worried since I just bought it, used, and have never had a car where the engine sounds like this. I like the sound but was worried I was driving it too hard. The Jeep runs well and it gets pretty fast after a minute!

La versione che in Italia va per la maggiore è il 1000cc Turbo-Benzina con cambio manuale a 6 marce è il 1600cc Diesel cambio manuale. Qui la benzina costa 2€ al litro! I owned a brand new 2017 4x4 renegade in anvil color, didn’t have a good experience, if it has a moon roof (not panoramic ) then def stay away as the locking mechanisms can malfunction and or break during harsh weather and now you’re stuck with an open moon roof panel and Jeep parts on. Back order I had to wait 3 months for the parts not to mention the installation. Also make sure the AC blows enough air I noticed with my Tacoma the ac even on low setting hit really well while the Jeep was max. I did not like how small the fuel tank was either it was like 10 gallons maybe
