Howdy, I have 2022 Mule SX-XC FI, much like yours, on-order. The one-taillight cheap-out by Kawasaki bugs me, so I want to add another taillight. The service tech I talked to said that there can't be another installed, because it would conflict with the muffler or something when the bed is raised... I don't have my buggy yet so I can't verify what he's talking about other than looking at pics online, nobody has any in-stock around here, and I actually do not know if he looked at the exact same model... I assume he did, but when you assume... Thanks.
Hahaha yeah I know what ya mean, it looks weird with the 1 light and the one reflector. I don’t know about the 2022 but mine 2020 that is correct in that it would hit the exhaust pipe just before it enters the muffler on the passenger side as the tail light is too big for that space when the bed is tilted back, I’m assuming they designed the lights/body last and it didn’t fit so they stuck a reflector there rather than re design. You could put on a little bit smaller tail light than the stock one tho and it would likely fit.
The bed body itself does not hit the hitch when the hitch is in the receiver. But the tailgate will hit the hitch if you have it in and tilt the bed all the way up to dump. So yeah if I am dumping stuff I usually take the hitch off. Hope this helps.
