2020 Land Rover Defender interior quality check 

When you say it's "plastic" on the door...it's actually the painted metal of the door panel itself. So you can't get any more solid than that. Also, when you say it's plastic that mimics metal on the steering wheel, it's actually Magnesium.

So Doug Demuro is also happy I think.

They are not skylights, they are Safari windows, carried over from the original Defender. The interior is designed to be hosed out.

British cars always had amazing interiors. I also like the old Rover 75.

It’s still a late model car, do that test again in 3-5 years, there will be squeaks.

These have problems with the weather stripping around the doors falling off. That's ok on a 10,000$ car but not on a 50,000$ car.

Land Rovers and the Range Rovers are crap boxes on wheels regardless of the model year. The Toyota Landcruisers rule the world's most rigorous terrains.

Never liked the defenders. I've been spoiled with Landcruisers and Troopers.

This guy’s probably only showing half the story. The interior quality seems alright, other than the reliability which he doesn’t show/tell you about. Land Rover / Range Rover cars have been known for terrible reliability. When they make newer models they get even more unreliable and they are even reliable at brand new. People only hype up these cars and tell half the story (which is usually lies anyways) so the car sounds nice whereas in reality with no misinformation these cars are terrible.
