Great video! I bought my 2020 Nori Green Inspiration Edition the end of February and absolutely LOVE this car!! Your video prompted me to head out to the garage afterwards to check/change several adjustments that I missed, or was not aware were available when I bought the car. Also, one thing you did not cover in the seat adjustments is that if you slide the Center, Seat Recline Adjustment button Up or Down, this will raise or lower the Power Headrest to the proper height. Keep up the great work!!

I don’t know how to thank you. Even though your dealership is out of my area, you have done a better job than Toyota/Lexus at explaining every minute details and even things I didn’t know about my new Lexus. Your explanations are better than the manual. I have found things in your videos that I didn’t know existed in my new Lexus. I really really really hope you continue doing these videos. You don’t know how many Lexus owners you have helped! (Even if Toyota/Lexus frowns at you)

Glad the video was helpful for you. Keep in mind the power head rest adjustment is not standard equipment. Glad that Larry had it on his LC so we can all be up to speed and glad your LC has it as well. It is a very elegant way to adjust the seat while you are sitting in it. If an LC doesn't have the power adjusted head rest it will be a manual adjustment at the base of the outside head rest post, like on many other Lexus vehicles.

This vehicle is beyond flawless, however I am a little disappointed that a vehicle of this caliber doesn't offer ambient lighting such as Audi, BMW & Mercedes. Why is that?
@NorthsideLexus
@NorthsideLexus 3 года назад
Hi Nathan, Thanks for tuning in! I know what you mean about the lighting. I'm not sure why Lexus has explored using it very much. The LC seems like a great fit to play with lighting design. The engineers do so much to play with light and shadow with the sculpting of the materials. Light would just add another layer. Maybe in the future. Thanks again for being here.

Help! Is there a way to 1) allow full view of entertainment system on screen when car is moving? (you cannot see music folders when care is moving, which is horribly annoying) 2) stop car from beeping when in reverse? Thanks!
@NorthsideLexus
@NorthsideLexus 2 года назад
Hi! The beeping in reverse is customizable at your Lexus dealership. Usually through the service department. It is one of the Lexus Personalized settings and a Technician can customize that for you. Regarding the full screen audio: what is the audio source you are using? Some sources have different rules. If you are able to see any item on screen and then it hides when the car is in motion, that is a safety design and can not be customized. Thanks so much for checking in.

I have a 2020 LC500. Question about WiFi hotspot. I have a T-Mobile hotspot and pay monthly subscription. How can I use it on my 2020 LC500? Will Lexus navigation system be able to obtain real time traffic? Latest weather as well? Please let me know if there are other tutorials or videos on the subject of Hotspots. I’ve owned the LC500 for only a few days, so please excuse the lack of knowledge. Great video by the way, very professional. I’ve downloaded it to my RU-vid account.
@NorthsideLexus
@NorthsideLexus 2 года назад
Hi N R, Congratulations on your 2020 LC500! What an amazing vehicle! I'll do my best to answer all of your questions: - The vehicle's hotspot is through AT&T only. Here's a video to help you set up an account if you would like: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t4cvC4f58L8.html The hotspot is predominantly for passengers to hotspot off f your car for tablets that don't have their own cellular plan. - The vehicle has Dynamic NAV, which includes a cloud based overlay of updated information when there is an active subscription to that data service. It is not wi-fi dependent. That subscription can be updated through the Lexus App. - The traffic and weather information primarily use the HD signal to bring in updated content as you drive and as information is available. Make sure to have the HD Info turned on in your Audio settings. - In many countries, the 2020 LC is compatible for the Apple CarPlay retrofit. If your LC doesn't have it yet and you use an iPhone, you may want to have your Lexus dealer do the update for you so you can use Apple CarPlay on the vehicle. Thanks so much for tuning in with me!

Hi Alexander. Glad you liked the video. With more information I may be able to help. What model and year is your vehicle? Have you completed your Lexus Enform registration? If you have had a Lexus or Toyota before, do not register in the new Lexus app, just sign in. If you aren't sure of your password, follow the steps to reset it. Make sure to delete any old Lexus Enform app from your phone so it does not interfere with the new app. Hope this helps.

If you sue Climate Concierge to set seats and steering wheel that will change as you raise or lower the interior temp desired.....what about the A/C compressor...if it gets warm/hot outside will the Conceierge automatically turn on the A/C compressor or do you need to that 'manually'????
@NorthsideLexus
@NorthsideLexus 3 года назад
Hi Joe! Thanks for tuning in! In my experience, the AC compressor stays on unless you manually select to turn it off. However, I live in an area that tends to be warm and muggy with high humidity. When using Auto Mode or Climate Concierge, depending on ambient temperature and if you are using Eco Drive mode, the system can cycle off the A/C compressor sooner for better fuel economy. Check starting on page 250 in the digital Owner's Manual: drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/document/om-s/OM11537U/pdf/OM11537U.pdf There is a lot of great information. The next thing to do is turn the A/C compressor on, select Climate Concierge to on and see if the system is operating as you like. Then do the same with the A/C off. Once you manually turn the A/C off you will need to turn it back on manually as well. Hope this helps. Thanks again. :)

@@NorthsideLexus Thanks again for all your help. I was expecting the Conciege would automatically turn on the A/C if I turned the temp down to LO. Were sorta here in between cold and warm weather. Once its gets warmer I will permanently turn on the A/C for the spring summer and fall. Thanks again

I think remote engine start should have been included. It's lock, lock, long-press lock (on the 3rd press) and then the engine starts. But... I despise Toyota's version of how this feature should operate. The car is now UNLOCKED for anyone to enter the vehicle. Yes, the engine shuts off when the door is opened, but the person could steal contents. Furthermore, when the rightful owner with key fob enters, the engine STILL shuts off, forcing the owner to perform a second engine start which is just silly. Ford/Lincoln's system is FAR superior. However... I love my LC500 with a passion.
@NorthsideLexus
@NorthsideLexus 3 года назад
Hi Pollo, Sorry for the delay. I've been out of the office, but wanted to thank you for posting and congratulate you on your LC500! Such an amazing vehicle. I also want to help clarify that all of the Lexus and Toyota remote starters (the key fob and the app versions) require the car to be locked or they will not start the car. If using the key fob, the very first press of the lock button, ensures the car is locked. If using the app, you will get a message about the car not being able to remotely start if the doors are unlocked. I don't usually mention the key fob remote in my tutorials, since the Lexus App version doesn't have the proximity limitation. You have to be so close to the car for the key fob to operate, that most Guests prefer the app, which only requires a cell signal to the phone and the car. I hear you about the auto shut off component. That has also been on all versions of Lexus/Toyota remote starters. Any attempt to enter the vehicle shuts off the engine. It is a safety and theft prevention feature. It also helps to make sure you have your key with you before driving away. Hand in the door handle unlocks the door, engine shuts off, hop in, start the car like normal and you're on your way. Hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in.
@BPoweredLove
@BPoweredLove 3 года назад
@@NorthsideLexus I appreciate the lengthy reply and no problem on the delay, which I didn't notice because I was away working as well! And yes, you affirmed everything I said. The engine killing as soon as the door open EVEN with the rightful owners with bey fob in their possession is evidently designed to prevent theft of the vehicle, but not of contents in the car. I'm not complaining to you about this unless you're a Toyota engineer. I am merely venting. Toyota is too stubborn to do things any way other than their way but Ford/Lincoln to teach them something about it. The vehicle is started but not drivable, all doors are locked, the engine will time out if the owner (key fob) doesn't enter and press the start button one more time at which point it only brings the dash to life and become drivable. This prevent ANY person from entering the vehicle to steal contents or drive the car. Anyway, it's silly that Toyota does it the way they do but I love the car. Thanks for the reply.
