You touched on both negative and positive aspect of the vehicle which is good. Malaysian reviewers will only mention the positive because they fear being blacklisted by the local dealers. They sometimes go to the extent of lying like calling PVC seat covers as leather or not mentioning a large SUV has no rear Aircon.
That's why mitsu has always been beaten by Toyota, the second and third row seats are not flexible if they( mitsubishi) only care about the engine, they should make tractors, not cars.
Ragnar Lothbrok I talk about flexibility in structure, not about luxury or interior leather in toyota i can be comfortable with many angles in both row2 and row3, but mitsubishi is only in row2, 3rd row too tight and stuffy
In my opinion: Driven a fortuner and a montero. Nothing compares to the Monteros comfort. Note that from QC to Isabela Cauyan is approximately 380km. The brakes of the Montero made it easy for me to perform threshold braking. No to that sudden stop braking (Always exercising finesse when driving) wherein every forward momentum is carried and stopping makes everyone launch forward. Power of the montero is delicately transferred throughout each gear, another plus in comfort. Power wise the Fortuner is the torque-iest no doubt, but its brakes are the same with the hilux, it wants to stop on the dot. Making it weirdly uncomfortable and annoying. Threshold braking in that specific suv is awkward. Still both SUV's are great, Toyota for its reliability (no freakin doubt) and Mitsubishi for its comfort and safety.
@@pmaperson8531 Oh no bro, thats not what I meant haha :) Actually, I was pertaining to Toyota being reliable (like no other company, in my opinion, can top it). We own a 2017 Montersport GLS premium, 54,000 km mileage as of now. No headaches whatsoever with it. A truly satisfying/well built SUV. Dont get me wrong please hahaha, I love the Mitsubishi Monterosport and for me the 4N15 engine and the 8 speed automatic transmission is by far the best in my opinion :) Potpot Kamonty! No to brand wars! All vehicles have their own pros and cons. Just trying to tell my side of the story. Thanks! :)

An average of 11,000.00 is spent during the 5,000km interval of every PMS session done to our montero :) After 30,000km we decided to try Motech and shell for our regular PMS (change oil, filters, brake cleaning and the likes). All is well, engine is at tip top condition :) Transmission is very responsive, feels like new if I might add. We changed the ATF fluid at around 40,000km :) If you have the money, I suggest going to casa for regular PMS (iba pa rin talaga sa casa hahaha). But if budget is somehow limited Shell or Motech is the way, regular PMS costs at around 6k-8k :) Use Helix or Motul fully synthetic or Mobil 1 Delvac.
Where is the review about leg space, boot space, head height. About torque. How many luggage you can fit. About performance when loaded. When you are pulling a trailer. About the feels like if you are seated at the back. About tire size. About its features. This review is not enough.
Mitsubishi, please sell this Montero Sport jn the United states ... the cars your currently selling in the US are crap, but this would actually sell !!!
The company should focus on the service part... In India Mitsubishi's service is ridiculous but the car is fantastic,am using Pajero for the last 14 years till now enjoying the car..
I don't think the Pajero Sport has landed in Australia yet. I like it's updated looks. We drove one while looking at a Triton. We chose the Triton in the end but the Paj Sport would have been welcome.
You forgot the biggest dislike the electronic park brake I can’t believe they’ve retained it. It’s so unreliable. And brakes easy. The system is so out dated especially for an off road vehicle it needs to be a cable less system.
Hopefully, an upgrade to a more powerful 2.4L MIVEC DID engine........now that the Fortuner has surpassed the 200hp-mark (2.8L D4D 240hp..... for the new Monterosport .......hopefully its 2.4L DID reach by about 199hp (from 184hp) least

Udipotah XD Oo iba tlaga ang Mitsu dati. Sa lancer box type pa lng eh pang bida din nila noon. Kaso prang bumagsak ata ang mitsubishi. Tpos Sinalo nlng ng Nissan ang kompanya nila sa pagkakaalam ko lng.. kaya prang pag mamay ari na rin sila ng Nissan

whiteFA This car shown in the video is called Monterosport or in some countries, Pajerosport. The Pajero you are talking about is called Montero in other countries (No sport in the name)
